Before you begin you must know the IP of the computer you wish to forward the inbound port traffic to. The default login to the DSL router is username "root" and password "12345". Go to http://192.168.1.1 and login. Click on Advanced Setup in the left menu bar Click on NAT in the left menu bar Click "Add" You can either search the drop down menu under "Select a Service" or manually add the port forward by selecting "Custom Server" if you know the desired port details. For example, to setup a port forward for VNC which uses TCP port 5900 by default... * Select "Custom Server" and set it's value to "VNC". * Complete the IP field for your desired forward next to "Server IP Address" * Add 5900 to all four port fields in a single row and ensure that protocol in this case is set to TCP. * Click "Save/Apply"
