| B. COMBINATION MAIN STATION SERVICE (CONTINUED) | |||||||
| 2. Combination main stations may be employed where on e station is at a business location and the other at a residence, or where all stations are at either business or residence locations. However, such an arrangement is permitted only on the premises of individuals or firms associated with each other. | |||||||
| 3. The rate for each main station is the established individual line rate; the business or residence rate is applied in accordance with the character of the use at each premise. | |||||||
| C. CONNECTION OF CUSTOMER PROVIDED TERMINAL EQUIPMENT | |||||||
| 1. Data Transmitting and/or Receiving Terminal Equipment | |||||||
| 2. Voice Transmitting and/or Receiving Terminal Equipment | |||||||
| a. Only approved Federal Communications Commission or Public Service Commission of Indiana, grandfathered or properly registered telephone equipment may be connected to Telephone Company lines and terminals. Equipment must comply with original manufacturers specifications and may not be modified, changed, or used in any way which would deviate from the original configuration accepted and registered by the Federal Communications Commission or the Public Service Commission of Indiana. | |||||||
| b. Customers electing to supply their own terminal equipment and connecting it to the Telephone Companys lines must have proof of legal purchase of such equipment before attaching same to said Telephone Companys lines or terminals. | |||||||
| D. CONNECTION OF CUSTOMER-PROVIDED COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS | |||||||
| 1. Customer-provided communications systems may be directly attached to facilities furnished by the Telephone Company for exchange communications services provided the equipment and/or system complies with the current Federal Communications Commission and/or Public Service Commission of Indiana rules and policies governing line connections. | |||||||
| 2. Customer-provided equipment must either be grandfathered or registered under the Federal Communications Commission registration policy and must continue to be maintained in such a way as to comply with the operational standards and characteristics established by the manufacturer holding the Federal Communications Commission registration number for that particular system or equipment. | |||||||
