Spam and Junk Mail

What do you do with junk email or Spam:
First nevery reply to it, don't complain about it to them, don't follow their instructions for removing you from their lists.  All thise things do is inform them that you are a viable email address and that you are exactly the kind of person they want to send this kind of junk to, because you read the entire email, followed directions well, and showed that you were an intelligent person.  These are exactly who marketers want to reach.

When you have the email opened, In Netschape click on "View" then "Headers" then "All"
This displays all the routing information.
Forward this to the ISP using their special abuse id.  As an example
abuse@seidata.com
The person there will notify the senders ISP of the abuse, add blocks to your own ISPs system to stop further abuses.
If needed they can and will inform government or law inforcement officials of problems.
