The Hayden Depot around 1920. The B&O Railroad line that ran through Spencer Twp. was built in 1854 to connect Cincinnati with St. Louis. The original track ran through the heart of town with the first depot sitting across from the Hayden Market. The tracks were moved to their present location in 1900. done
