Purdue Virtual Reference Desk: Contains the following sections: Dictionaries, Thesaurus, Acronyms; Maps & Travel Information; Selected U.S. Documents; Periodic Tables and Weights & Measures; Phone Books & Area Codes; ZIP & International Country Codes; Time & Date; and Other Reference Sources. This information is also accessible by subtopic, because the page is internally indexed.
BCR Gopher Ready Reference Section: This collection has some slightly arcane features, like a listof 3-letter airport codes and a list of state capitals. BCR is the Bibliographical Center for Research, a nonprofit library cooperative serving primarily Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming.
