Meredith L. Huntington
Meredith L. Huntington, 60, of Osgood, died Monday, August 23, 2004 at his residence. He was born May 4, 1944 at Osgood the son of Charles Leonard and Ruth Pate Huntington, both deceased. He married Marilyn Ann Rhodes and she survives at home.
Other survivors include two sons, Meredith L. Huntington of Osgood, Gregory A. Huntington of Batesville; two brothers, Robert Huntington, George Huntington both of Osgood; three sisters, Jeanette Wagner, Patricia Pettit, Debbie Huntington, all of Osgood; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, John Huntington.
Mr. Huntington was retired from Joseph E. Seagrams having worked for 32 years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion of Milan and a past member of the AmVets of Osgood.
Visitation will be held today, Thursday, August 26 from 5-8 p.m. at Neal's Funeral Home, Osgood. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Tanglewood Cemetery, Versailles.

Lois Cottingham
Lois Cottingham, 84, of Milan, died Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg. She was born February 8, 1920 in Ripley County, the daughter of Otho and Maude I. (Manlief) Ashcraft. She married Harry B. Cottingham on December 20, 1941 and he preceded her in death on February 18, 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Donald and Charles Cottingham both of Milan; two daughters, Judy Wilkins of Indianapolis, Jean Walcott of Dillsboro; one brother, Delton Ashcraft of Florence, KY; five sisters, Inez Hoffmeyer, Pat Bockhorst, both of Milan, Kathryn Hollin, Janet Hedrick, both of Moores Hill, Carolyn Manford of Aurora; 14 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth and Jerry; one granddaughter, Emily Cottingham; four brothers, Kenneth, Elmer, Leslie and Paul Ashcraft.
Mrs. Cottingham was a homemaker, attended the South Sparta Church for many years, was a member of the Legion and VFW Auxiliary, former member of the Eastern Star and was a volunteer at the Dearborn County Hospital for 30 years.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 26 from 6-8 p.m. at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home, Moores Hill. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17 at 11 a.m. fast time at the funeral home with Rev. Harris Long and Rev. Tom Holt officiating. Burial will be in the South Sparta Cemetery south of Moores Hill.

George Francis Diehls
George Francis Diehls, 83, of New Mexico, formerly of Indiana, died Sunday, August 22, 2004 at the Heritage House. He was born May 2, 1921 in Janesville, Wisconsin the son of George Charles and Frances Anastacia (Burke) Diehls.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Phil) Howell of Shelbyville, Debbie (Bruce) Stephens of Milan; one sister, Helen Ames of Janesville, WI; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Diehls and one sister, Ann Hudson.
He attended Alice Lloyd College in Pippa Pass, KY. He was employed for 20 years by General Electric as a purchasing agent and retired as a machinist in Cleveland, OH. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII.
Burial will be in the Cravens Cemetery, Milan. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Melvin G. Nobbe
Melvin G. "Mule" Nobbe, 56, of Batesville, died Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at his residence. He was born November 4, 1947 in Franklin County, the son of Martin J. Nobbe and Frieda (Lecher) Nobbe, both deceased.
Survivors include three sisters, Evalena Kuntz of Batesville, Rosina Forthofer of Sunman, Mary Jo Wuestefeld of Batesville; one brother, Edward Nobbe of Batesville; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Nobbe.
Mr. Nobbe was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church, Batesville, the Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271, Ripley County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3183, Knight's of St. John, Oldenburg Conservation Club and the Rushville Muskrat Conservation Club. He worked for the Ripley County Beverage Company for 26 years as a beer salesman and worked the last five years for Monarch Beverage Company as a draught service technician. He served in the Army in Vietnam.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 27 from 4-8 p.m. with rosary services at 6 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, Batesville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28 at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Batesville at 10 a.m. with Rev. Daniel Mahan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Margaret E. Clayton
Margaret E. Clayton, 79, of Holton, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at the King's Daughters' Hospital, Madison. She was born at Versailles on April 5, 1925, the daughter of Roy and Bernice Ruth Brown Lockridge. She was married to Cecil Clayton on January 30, 1948 and he preceded her in death on December 26, 1975.
Survivors include four sons: Paul Clayton and wife Sandra, William Clayton, Joseph Clayton and his wife Vickie, all of Holton, Timothy Clayton and Kathy of Commiskey; two daughters: Barbara Hall and husband James of Holton; Ruth Hill and husband Clarence of Versailles; eighteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; three half-brothers: David Hallgarth of Lubbock, TX; Jack Hallgarth of Corpus Christi, TX; and Durwin Hallgarth of Hanover; two half-sisters: Norma Brown of Indianapolis, and Dorothy Furnish of Madison.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Josie Clayton and grandson, Andrew Hill.
Mrs. Clayton was a 1943 graduate of Versailles High School and had worked as a cook at New Marion High School. She was a member of the Holton Christian Church and retired from Muscatatuck after 25 years as a QMA.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 19 from 5-8 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home, Versailles.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 20 at 11 a.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home, Versailles with Bro. Robert McCreary of the Holton Christian Church officiating.
Burial will be in the New Marion Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Holton Christian Church or to the New Marion Cemetery in care of the funeral home.

Astor Collins
Astor Collins, 64, of Moores Hill, died Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at the Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg. He was born July 31, 1949 in Knott County, KY, the son of Maryland and Virgie (Mullins) Collins. He married Betty (Gibson) Collins on December 21, 1962 and she survives.
Other survivors include four brothers, Raymond (Olive) Collins of Mt. Sterling, KY, Glenn (Jackie) Collins of Lawrenceburg, Dana Collins of Topmost, KY, Roy Henry (Nada) Collins of Topmost, KY, mother-in-law, Maudie Gibson of Paris, KY, sister, Joanne (Wayne) Smith of Ison, KY, and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Mr. Collins was a coalminer in Kentucky and retired from Seagram's after 31 years of service.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home, Moores Hill. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 20 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor LaMar Brown of the Milan Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Moores Hill.

Edward John Reed
Edward John Reed, 52, of Milan, died Monday, August 9, 2004 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital, Batesville. He was born April 2, 1952 in Batesville the son of Laura Elizabeth Bowman Day Riley and John Day and was later adopted by Edward and Helen Reed. He married Cynthia Jean Borgmann and she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Jessica Lynn Reed, stepson, Hayes DeWayne Nolan, three granddaughters, sisters and brothers, Marcella, Libby, Alice, Billy, Betty, David, Ruth, Ricky, Lester (Junior), Robert, Linda, Walter, Edith, Rosemary, Richard, Karen, Sharon and Janice.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 13 from 6-7 p.m. (slow time) at Cook Funeral Home, Sunman with a memorial service immediately following visitation at 7 p.m.

George R. Stegner
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 11, at 10:30 a.m. at the Tyson United Methodist Church, Versailles, for George R. Stegner, 80, of Versailles, who passed away Sunday, August 8, 2004, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. Rev. Michael Hendrix officiated the funeral service. Masonic services by the Versailles Masonic Lodge were held August 10, at 7:30 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter funeral home.
Mr. Stegner was a community minded citizen belonging to a number of organizations and serving on a variety of boards.
He was a member of the Tyson United Methodist Church, Versailles F&AM #7, and was a 33rd degree Mason. He was also a member of the Murat Shrine, Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite, the Ripley County Historical Society, the York Rite, and had been named a Kentucky Colonel. He was a former Versailles Town Board member having served for 12 years and also served on the Southeastern Indiana Regional Planning Commission.
Stegner was born on May 13, 1924 in Holton the son of Virgil and Madeline Decker Stegner. He was married to Audrey Jackson on August 17, 1947, and she preceded him in death on February 7, 2000.
Survivors include a son, Gary Stegner and wife Sally of Versailles; grandchildren, Jeremy Stegner and Elizabeth Stegner. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Virgil.
Mr. Stegner was a 1942 graduate of Holton High School and had attended Franklin College and Indiana State University. He was a registered X-ray technician and had retired from the Jefferson Proving Ground.
Burial was in the Holton Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Tyson United Methodist Church or the Versailles Masonic Lodge in care of the funeral home.

John Gilbert Hunter
John Gilbert Hunter, 87, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away December 5, 2003 in Phoenix. He was born in Versailles on December 10, 1916 the son of Tony and Eva Mae Stewart Hunter. He was married to Catherine Louise Hunter in 1941 and she preceded him in death on February 4, 1996.
Survivors include one son, Thomas E. Hunter of Phoenix, one daughter Janet Anne Hunter of Cincinnati. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Virginia Rosbach.
Mr. Hunter was a 1934 graduate of Versailles High School and a 1938 graduate of Indiana University. He was an Army veteran of WWII and had taught physics and general science in northern Illinois for several years.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 14 at 1 p.m. at the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Local arrangements were handled by the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.

Norman W. Acra
Norman W. Acra, 79, of Milan, died Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at his residence. He was born January 13, 1925 in Milan the son of John W. and Nettie (Carpenter) Acra, both deceased. He married Marilyn L. (Wetzler) Acra on December 1, 1946 and she survives.
Other survivors include one son, Tom Acra of Milan, two daughters, Cherie Ison of Dillsboro, Beth Ann Redwine of Milan, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Woneda Bennett in 1985.
Mr. Acra was a carpenter and masonry worker and served as a custodian with the Milan Schools for 24 years. He was a WWII Army Veteran, member of the Milan VFW and the Milan United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 12 from 5-8 p.m. at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 13 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Stormy Scherer-Berry officiating. Burial will be in the Craven Cemetery, Milan with military graveside rites conducted by the Milan Legion and VFW Posts.
Memorials may be made to the Margaret Mary Hospice or Milan United Methodist Church.

Sr. Benedict Esquibel, O.S.F.
Sr. Benedict Esquibel, O.S.F., 99, of Oldenburg, died Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at Sisters of St. Francis Convent, Oldenburg. She was born May 11, 1905 in Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico the daughter of Manuel Esquibel and Lucia Lujan Esquibel, both deceased.
Sister Esquibel is survived by one sister, Sr. Consuelo Esquibel, OSF of Oldenburg, two brothers, Pete Esquibel of Tierra Amarilla, NM, and Arthur Esquibel of Belen, NM. She was preceded in death by one sister, Lucy Esquibel and one brother, Alfredo Esquibel.
Sister Esquibel entered the convent on December 24, 1926 and completed her final vows on July 26, 1934. She retired to the motherhouse in 1978. She had taught in many Ohio, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and New Mexico schools.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 13 from 1-3 p.m. at the Sisters of St. Francis Motherhouse Chapel with funeral services to follow at 3 p.m. The Rev. Carl Hawyer, OFM will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Francis Cemetery, Oldenburg.
Memorials may be given to the Sisters of St. Francis Convent.

Wilkerson

Albert "Pete" Wilkerson, 88, of Osgood, died Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at his residence. He was born October 8, 1915 in Wyoming, OH the son of James and Loretta Dures Wilkerson. He married Dorothy Virginia Strunks on January 30, 1937 and she preceded him in death in 1988.
Survivors include one daughter, Dee Huskey of Osgood, five sons, Albert Wilkerson and wife Joyce of Arkansas, Robert Wilkerson and wife Charlene of OH, David Wilkerson and wife Janet of FL, Timothy Wilkerson and wife Julie of IL, Jerald Wilkerson and wife Lori of MA, two brothers, Raymond Wilkerson of OH, Grover Wilkerson of CO, 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Wilkerson.
Mr. Wilkerson was a WWII Army veteran and a 45 year member of the IronWorkers Local Union 44 of Cincinnati.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 6 from 4-6 p.m. at Neal's Funeral Home, Osgood. Funeral services will follow visitation at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Military services will be conducted by the Osgood American Legion Post #267 and the Napoleon Keene Henneke VFW. Private committal services will be held at a future time.

Margaret Koester

Carolyn Margaret Koester, 76, of Batesville, died Sunday, August 1, 2004 at her residence. She was born February 14, 1928 in Laurel the daughter of Doyle and Merle (Lockwood) Emsweller, both deceased. She married Charles Koester in Richmond on March 3, 1946 and he preceded her in death on July 29, 1992.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Koester (Marilyn) of Columbus, Robert Koester (Rae) and David Koester (Beth), both of Batesville, one sister, Lois Ault (late Bill) of Newnan, GA, one brother, Rev. Bob Emsweller (Rosemary) of Savannnah, GA, one sister-in-law, Jean Emsweller of Hamilton, OH and three grandchildren, Jason, Melissa Koester and Gavin Koester. She was preceded in death by one brother, Carson Emsweller.
Mrs. Koester was a homemaker and also retired from Woodwinds, Cheers, Vinney's and before that Keg and Kettle. She was also a member of St. John United Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, August 5, 11 a.m. at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville with Rev. Charles Flory officiating.
Burial will be in the St. John (Huntersville) Cemetery. Memorials may go to the American Heart Association or Batesville Rescue 10.

Clara Frances Peterson
Clara Frances Peterson, 67, of New Point, died Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. She was born September 26, 1936 in Milan the daughter of Ernie Wilson and Mollie Rodgers Wilson, both deceased. She married Thomas Peterson on June 28, 1952 in Greensburg and he survives.
Other survivors include five daughters, Trish (Robert) Harpring of Greensburg, Christine (Richard) Shouse of New Point, Sherry (Kevin) Inman of Rossburg, Sandra (Victor) Dinsmore of Indianapolis, Marcia (David) McMillian of Greensburg, three brothers, Ray, Shellie and Gordon "Jim" Wilson, all of Batesville, five sisters, Josephine Godby of Milan, Margaret Peterson of Cincinnati, OH, Coralee Craft of Middletown, OH, Faye Paxon of Danielville, IL, Jody Short of Sherman, TX, eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernie Wilson, Jr., Elzie Wilson and J.C. Wilson.
Mrs. Peterson was a graduate of Napoleon High School. She worked at Ross Point Truck Plaza and the JayC Store in Greensburg.
Visitation will be held today, Thursday, August 5, 4-8 p.m. at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 6, 10 a.m. at New Point Christian Church in New Point with Mark Vice officiating.

Harold Albert Rose
Harold Albert Rose, 55, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at the Columbus Hospice Center in Columbus. He was born April 2, 1949 in Versailles the son of Otto Herman and Luella (Lane) Rose.
Survivors include two daughters, Corrina A. Williams of Columbus, Erica S. Eden of Columbus, three brothers, Fred Rose of Osgood, Carl Rose of Rushville, Raymond Rose of Osgood, six sisters, Geneva Bunten of Indianapolis, Mary Baxter of Indianapolis, Lola Kolodzik of Brookville, Debbie Shirley Blain-Rose of Indianapolis, Helen Rose of Madison and Dorthy Moeller of Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Alvin E., Robert and Charles Rose.
Mr. Rose was a Vietnam veteran serving in the army. He was a member of the American Legion in Greensburg, the VFW in North Vernon and a life member of the AmVets.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 5, from 4-8 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 6 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Haugen officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery, Versailles with military graveside rites.

Hiram S. Poore, Jr., 71, of Milan died Wednesday, July 4, 2004 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital, Batesville. Services are pending at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan.

Joshua D. Maddux
Joshua D. Maddux, 16, of Westport, died Monday, August 2, 2004 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born November 11, 1987 in Columbus the son of N. Jay Maddux and Pam Bower Maddux.
Survivors include his mother, Pam Maddux of Westport, father and stepmother, N. Jay and Tabitha Maddux of Westport, one brother, Jason Maddux of Corpus Christi, TX, one half brother, Christopher J. Maddux of Westport, maternal grandmother, Lourina Bower of Westport, paternal grandparents, Richard and Ruth Anna Maddux of Westport, and steppaternal grandparents, Richard and Joyce Smith of Milan. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Alva W. "John" Bower.
Mr. Maddux was a junior at South Decatur High School and was active in football, baseball and FFA.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 5 from 4-8 p.m. at the Gasper Funeral Home, Westport. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 6 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bear Creek Cemetery south of Alert.

Leah Audrey Tuttle
Leah Audrey Tuttle, 78, of Irving, TX, died Saturday, July 31, 2004 in Fort Worth, TX. She was born October 27, 1925 in Moores Hill the daughter of Leslie Vinson and Ruth Skirving, both deceased. She married Harry L. Tuttle and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Tuttle was a claims adjuster.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Tuttle of Irving, TX, David Tuttle of Southlake, TX, one daughter, Janice Begay of Dallas, TX, two brothers, Larry Vinson of Charleston, SC, Dennis Vinson of Carrollton, KY and seven grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held today, Thursday, August 5, 2 p.m. (EDT) at Union Cemetery in Moores Hill.

Loraine A. Litmer
Loraine A. Litmer, 84, of Loveland, OH, died Sunday, August 1, 2004 at the Lodge Care Center in Loveland. She was born January 23, 1920 in Norwood, OH the daughter of Robert J. Oelerich and Louise Franz Oelerich, both deceased. She married Clifford Litmer and he preceded her in death in 1978.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Marcella Schwegman of New Point, two brothers-in-law, Alfred Litmer and Carl Litmer, both of Enochsburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Litmer was a bookkeeper for 45 years at Palm Brothers Manufacturing in Cincinnati, OH before retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Ignatius in Cheviot, OH.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 4, 11 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church with Rev. Gregory Bramlage officiating.
Burial will be in the St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may go to the American Heart Association. Weigel Funeral Home, Batesville, was in charge of the arrangements.

Marie Gilland
Marie Gilland, 94, of Milan, formerly of Osgood, died Monday, August 2, 2004 at Ripley Crossing Care Center in Milan. She was born January 24, 1910 in New Marion the daughter of Manning and Daisey (Caplinger) Talbott, both deceased. She married LeRoy Gilland in 1928 and he preceded her in death in 1969.
Survivors include one daughter, Debra Lows (Mrs. Alvin Dale) of Moores Hill, one sister, Bessie Ingram of California, two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gilland was a former employee of Vollmer's Store in Osgood. She was also a member of the Osgood Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held today, Thursday, August 5, 9-11 a.m. (slow time) at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan.
Funeral services will follow visitation at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles McKinnley officiating.

Cumberworth

Merlin C. Cumberworth, 76, of North Vernon, died Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at Jennings Health Care Center. He was born April 1, 1928 in Hopewell the son of Charles Cumberworth and Verna (Henderson) Cumberworth, both deceased.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Cumberworth of Butlerville, Richard A. Cumberworth of Rushville, one daughter, Dr. Rebecca J. Sanders of North Vernon, two sons, Marvin Cumberworth of Butlerville, Kenny Dwigans of Indianapolis, one sister, Pat Champ of Jackson, TN, one brother, Nelson Cumberworth of Wilmington, NC, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One sister, Maxine Cochran and one son, Charles Lee Cumberworth preceded him in death.
Mr. Cumberworth was a retired truck driver and had worked for Specter Mid State, and later worked at Muscatatuck State Developmental Center. He was a member of the Wagon Train and Outriders Club and the Teamsters Union.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 5 from 4-8 p.m. at Pickett Funeral Home, North Vernon. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.

Francis Dawson

Pauline Francis Dawson, 51, of Dillsboro, died Sunday, August 1, 2004 at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. She was born February 15, 1953 in Reisterstown, MD, the daughter of Joseph Howard Diehl and Nancy L. Diehl. She married Thomas N. Dawson and he survives in Dillsboro. Mrs. Dawson was a homemaker.
Other survivors include one son, Tom Dawson III of Manassas, VA, one daughter, Sallie Vilardo of Dillsboro, her mother, Nancy L. Diehl of Beaufort, SC, two brothers, Danny Diehl of Beaufort, SC, David Diehl of Beaufort, SC, three sisters, Susan Priest of Bay City, MI, Deborah L. Adams of San Bernadino, CA, Tisa Tucker of Beaufort, SC and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Pauline F. Dawson and her father, Joseph Howard Diehl.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 4, 7:30 p.m. at Ulrich-Filter Funeral Home in Dillsboro.
Memorials may go to the Dillsboro Emergency Unit.

Woodrow McGee
Woodrow McGee, 91, of Cross Plains, passed away Monday, August 2, 2004 at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. He was born in Cross Plains on December 4, 1912 the son of Albert and Lucinda Conyers McGee. He was married to Alma Palmer on July 27, 1939 and she preceded him in death on August 14, 2000. Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Mr. McGee graduated from Versailles High School in 1930 and received his teaching certificate from Central Normal in Danville. He taught school at New Marion and Cross Plains. He was also a member of the Versailles F&AM #7, the Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite and the Versailles Order of the Eastern Star.
Visitation will be held today, Thursday, August 5, 10 a.m. until time of services at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
Funeral services will follow visitation at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Cole of the Dabney Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the Dabney Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
