This year she was awarded the Hoosier Scholar Award for $500, and she received a Valedictorian Scholarship from Purdue University for $2,000 per year.

In the fall she will be attending Purdue University to major in Physical Therapy. When she graduates from Purdue she hopes to work in a hospital or with an athletic team.

Kraushar coaches the Milan Swim Team during the summer, and also works at the Dearborn County YMCA.

Kraushar is the daughter of Scott and Donna Kraushar. She has two older brothers, ages 20 and 24, who both attended Purdue University. Her father owns the County Line Veterinary Service in Dillsboro, and her mother works in the office as a manager.
Her favorite activity during her senior year was "playing sports, because the competitions were a lot of fun." Kraushar said that when she leaves Milan she "will miss being with all her friends everyday, and her favorite teachers."
