Stacey Borgman graduated first in her class from
Jac-Cen-Del High School on Saturday, May 28 with an 11.09 GPA.
During her commencement speech she talked to her fellow classmates
about where they had come from, and where they are headed in
the coming years.
During her time spent at Jac-Cen-Del she served as the Student
Council President, and she was vice-president of the senior
class. Borgman was also a member of the Sunshine Society, the
National Honor Society, and the Spanish Club. She was a member
of the golf team during her sophomore year.
During the school year she worked at the Red Barn Restaurant
in Osgood. This summer she is planning to work at Dr. Wade's
Opthamology Office in Batesville.
As a senior, she received the honor of being named the DAR
Good Citizen. Borgman was also awarded the Hoosier Scholar
Award for $500.
In the fall Borgman will be attending Indiana University to
major in apparel merchandising. She hopes to one day work for
a large department store like Macy's or Bloomingdales in a
big city.
Borgman is the daughter of Paul and Donna Borgman. She has
three older brothers, Adam, Kurt, and Josh. Her mother works
at the same eye doctor's office in Batesville that she will
be working at, and her father is a logger.
When looking back on her high school years, she would like
to thank Mr. Westerman and Mr. Ruble because, "they have
always been there
for me; in math class and in student council." The highlight of her senior
year was working on the senior float during the fall.
Her advice to younger students is, "Always be yourself.
Never let anybody pressure you in to anything."

Schneider will take classes at Columbus Regional Hospital.
She will study to become an x-ray technician in a two-year

classes at the hospital until she reaches her ultimate goal
of becoming an ultrasound technician.
Schneider is the daughter of Ralph and Pat Schneider. She
has two older sisters, Amy and Jessica. Jessica is presently
attending Northern Kentucky University. Her parents own Schneider's

When asked what she will miss about Jac-Cen-Del, she said, "I

said she got much closer with all of her friends during her
senior year. Her advice to younger students is, "Work
hard and don't get distracted by things that aren't important."
