Seymour man killed in two vehicle accident

Christopher A. Cobb, 32, of Seymour, was pronounced dead at the scene of a two vehicle accident that occurred in Versailles in the early morning hours of July 1.

According to information from Versailles Town Marshal David Adams, the accident occurred at 1:36 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and US 50 in Versailles.

Cobb was operating a 1984 Plymouth and his passenger, Curtis L. Brewer, 40, of North Vernon, was take to University Hospital in Cincinnati.

The driver and passenger in the 2003 Ford REMC truck, also involve d in the incident, were not injured.

The accident is under investigation by the Versailles Police Department who were assisted by the Ripley County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police, Osgood Police, Ripley County Coroner, Rescue 69, Versailles Fire and Ripley County Paramedics.
