General to be guest speaker at Chamber event

Brigadier General Omer Clifton Tooley will be the guest speaker at the Ripley County Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting on September 15. He will be sharing information on how Ripley County businesses can benefit from the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center.

Brigadier General Tooley is the Deputy Joint Forces Commander (Army), Indiana National Guard. He has served in a wide variety of active duty and National Guard positions both in the United States and abroad.

There will be a reception for General Tooley from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for those who would like to meet with him one-on-one. There will also be a question and answer session after his presentation.

The meeting will be held at the Jac-Cen-Del Elementary School Cafeteria. There will be a turkey dinner followed by General Tooley's presentation and the annual award presentations of Citizen, Educator and Business Person of the Year.
