Amanda Horn
Amanda Horn, 90, of Holton passed away Tuesday,
February 20, 2007 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in
Batesville. She was born at Ravena in Estill County, Kentucky
on September 1, 1916 the daughter of Elijah and Martha Brineger
Sparks. She was married to Beverly Horn on June 25, 1935 and
he preceded her in death on April 23, 2001.
Survivors include six sons, James Horn and his wife Loretta
of Madison, Robert and Ruth Horn of Kent, Wayne and Joyce Horn
of Osgood, Ron and Mary Horn of Versailles, Keith Horn of Indianapolis,
and Kenneth Horn of Madison; four daughters, Clara Williams
and her husband Milford of Holton, Wanda and David Dinsmore
of Partridge, Kentucky, Alma and Robert Landry of Madison, and
Anna Perkinson of Vernon; 36 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren,
13 great-great grandchildren; one brother Luscill Sparks of
Osgood; one sister Emma Brumback of Osgood; one sister-in-law
Ruth Sparks of Osgood.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, her son Kevin,
and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Horn was a homemaker and had worked at the Marion County
Home in Indianapolis and also for Vines Poultry in Osgood. She
was a member of the Cedar Creek Community Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 23 at 2:00 p.m.
at the Cedar Creek Church with Rev. Garland Rudd officiating.
Burial will be in the Greendale Cemetery at Osgood. Visitation
will be Thursday from 5-8:00 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter
Funeral Home in Versailles and from 1:00 p.m. until time of
services at the church on Friday.
Memorials may be given to the Cedar Creek Church in care of
the funeral home.
William Bernard Whitten
William Bernard Whitten, 93, of Connersville, formerly of Greensburg,
passed away Monday, February 19, 2007.
Visitation will be today, Thursday, February 22, from 5-8:00
p.m. and 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Grand Avenue United Methodist
Church in Connersville. Funeral services will follow at 11:00
a.m. at the church with Rev. Earnest Howard officiating. Showalter-Blackwell-Long

Leona Mae Huffman Hehe, 76, of Marion, formerly
of Dillsboro, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2007.

Susie Sizemore
Susie Sizemore, 87, of Holton passed away Wednesday,
February 21, 2007 at the Kings Daughters Hospital
in Madison. She was born at Manchester, Kentucky on March 4,
1919 the daughter of Sidney and Polly Roberts Britton. She was
married to Craft Sizemore on December 16, 1938 and he preceded
her in death on May 14, 1995.
Survivors include one son Edwin Sizemore and his wife Lula of
Versailles; two daughters, Ruth Hull of Holton and Marlene Jones
and her husband Lowell also of Holton; eight grandchildren,
16 great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren; two
brothers, Ray Britton of Johnson City, Tennessee and Gene Britton
of McCarthur, Ohio; two sisters, Maxine Korvin and Bonnie Horstman
both of Newport Richey, Florida.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents,
her grandson Mark Hull, brothers Joe and Ralph Britton and her
sisters Mary Britton, Eva Allen, and Laura Brumley.
Mrs. Sizemore was a member of the Butlerville Mennonite Church
and was a homemaker. She enjoyed attending Bingo and collecting
antiques.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24 at 11:00
a.m. at the Butlerville Mennonite Church with Rev. Dale Boyd
officiating. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Visitation
will be Friday from 5-8:00 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral
Home in Versailles and from 10:00 a.m. until time of services
Saturday at the church.

Linnie Sue Williams, 52, of Batesville, passed
away Tuesday, February 20, 2007.

Myra Sue Stines Taylor
Myra Sue Stines Taylor, 69, of Madison, formerly
of Rexville, died Monday, February 12, 2007 at her residence.
She was born June 19, 1937 at Ellettsville, the daughter of
Bill and Mary Ranard Stines, both deceased. She married Wilbert
Taylor and he preceded her in death April 12, 1997.
Survivors include sons Ron and wife Traci, and Steve and wife
Vicki all of Madison; and Tim and wife Rhonda of Rexville; son-in-law
Dale Richmer of Madison; daughter Susan Lock of Osgood; brother
Fred Stines and wife Joyce of Otisco; 18 grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by daughters Rachael Taylor and Julie
Richmer; sister Carolyn Huttsell and brother Bill Stines.
Mrs. Taylor attended New Washington High School and was raised
in Marysville. She resided in Rexville from 1960-1997. Mrs.
Taylor was a homemaker. She was a member of the Westfork Baptist
Church for 35 years, and after moving to Madison became a member
of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Visitation is today, Thursday, February 15 from 4-8:00 p.m.
at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in
Madison and Friday, February 16 from 9:00 until time of services.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.
with Rev. Don G. Bradley and Pastor Jim Scroggin officiating.
Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Indiana.

Mark S. Rigdon
Mark S. Rigdon, 45, of Milan, died Monday, February 12, 2007
at Margaret Mary Community Hospital, Batesville. He was born
May 22, 1961 at Lawrenceburg, the son of Leland and Judith Dunn
Rigdon Livers. He married Rosemary Pennington on December 25,
1990 at Osgood and she survives.
Survivors also include his mother, Judith Livers of Osgood;
son Michael Rigdon of Milan; daughters Nikki and Amanda Rigdon
of Milan; and brother Thad Rigdon of Milan.
He was preceded in death by his father Leland Rigdon.
Mr. Rigdon was a welder at Hill Rom in Batesville.
Visitation will be Friday, February 16 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Neals
Funeral Home in Osgood. Funeral services will be held on Saturday,
February 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be
in the Perseverance Cemetery in Osgood.

Mabel C. Barth
Mabel C. Barth, 88, of Versailles passed away Monday, February
12, 2007 at the Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. She
was born in Versailles on April 10, 1918 the daughter of Orval
and Audra Rea Carroll, both deceased. She was married to Russell
Barth on May 10, 1947 in the St. Pauls Lutheran Church
at Olean and he preceded her in death on July 20, 1993.
Survivors include one daughter Shirley Barth of Versailles and
one son Gene Barth of Dillsboro; five grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren; two sisters Margaret Heneke of Osgood and
Jean Clark of Kentucky; and one brother William Rea Carroll
of Osgood.
Mrs. Barth was a homemaker, a member of the St. Pauls
Lutheran Church in Olean, and a member of the Olean Willing
Workers Home Ec. Club.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 16 at 11:00 a.m.
in the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Olean with Rev. Marcus
Felde officiating. Visitation will be today, Thursday, February
15 from 4-7:00 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in
Versailles. Burial will be in the St. Peters Cemetery
in Olean following funeral services.

Eva G. Dutt
Eva G. Dutt, 86, of Norwalk, OH, passed away Sunday, February
4, 2007 in Norwalk. She was born in Cardington, OH on October
30, 1920. She married Charles Dutt and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughter Pat and her husband Dave Terry of
Attica, OH; sister Mary Rinehart; three grandchildren and five
great-grandsons.
Mrs. Dutt served the Christian and Missionary Alliance Churches,
along with her husband, in Texas, Louisiana, Columbus, Sandusky
and Zanesville, Ohio, as well as Indiana and Illinois. She was
a former Sunday School superintendent and teacher, Vacation
Bible School director, and director of Childrens Day Care
School. Mrs. Dutt was active in child evangelism and womens
ministries.
Visitation will be today, Thursday, February 8 from 10:00 a.m.
until the time of services at 11:00 at the Westview Alliance
Church, 3308 Elpaso Drive, Columbus, Ohio. Burial will be in
the Marion Cemetery.

Curtis A. Craven
Curtis A. Craven, 65, of Milan, passed away Monday,
February 5, 2007 at his residence. He was born at Batesville
on July 10, 1941, the son of Lester and Hazel Furnish Craven,
both deceased. He married Rita Anne Rudolf on February 3, 1962
and she preceded him in death on August 25, 1989.
Survivors include sons Jeff and Jason Craven of Melbourne, FL;
Joseph of Williamsburg, VA; daughter Carol Craven of Colorado
Springs, CO; brother David Craven of Collinsville, VA; sisters
Eileen Bevington of Phoenix, AZ and Leora Smart of Greensburg;
eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Craven was a self-employed carpenter, and had previously
worked at Walsmans at Batesville. He was a member of the
Carpenters Union and the Sons of the American Legion.
Mr. Craven was a former Boy Scout leader and former owner/operator
of the Dairy-Moo at Milan. He was a local karaoke performer
known as "Captain Karaoke."
Visitation will be today, Thursday, February 8 from 6-8:00 p.m.
at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Funeral services
will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 9 at 11:00
a.m. with Rev. Frank Goodpaster officiating. Burial will be
in the New Craven Cemetery, Milan.

James Wm. Reinking
James Wm. Reinking, 88, of Osgood, passed away
Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Manderley Health Care Center in
Osgood. He was born at Beaverton, OH, on February 11, 1918,
the son of George and Marietta Hayes Reinking, both deceased.
Survivors include cousin Mary Rose Reinking of Osgood and other
cousins.
Mr. Reinking was a farmer. He was a member of the Osgood Christian
Church, former Sunday School teacher and past treasurer and
elder. Mr. Reinking was a former Farm Bureau member.
Visitation will be Friday, February 9 from 10-11:00 a.m. at
the Osgood Christian Church. Funeral services will immediately
follow at the church. Burial will be in Finks Cemetery at St.
Peters United Church of Christ, Osgood.

Robert H.W. Torwelle
Robert H.W. Torwelle, 81, of Greensburg, passed
away Monday, February 5, 2007 at the Heritage House Nursing
Home in Greensburg. He was born at Farmers Retreat on January
3, 1926, the son of August and Clara Thomas Torwelle, both deceased.
He married Viola Richter on June 20, 1953 at the St. Johns
United Church of Christ in Penntown and she survives.
Survivors also include daughters Geraldine and husband Marty
McKinney of Batesville and Diane and husband Dan Scheidler of
Greensburg; sister Robena Torwelle of Milan; grandchildren Hannah
and Wesley McKinney and Michael and Annalie Scheidler.
Mr. Torwelle was a retired farmer and also had worked in custom
livestock hauling.
Visitation will be today, Thursday, February 8 from 4-7:00 p.m.
at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral
services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February
9 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Flory officiating. Private
graveside rites will be held for the immediate family in the
St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Geneva May Dunbar
Geneva May Dunbar, 96, of Osgood passed away Monday, January
29, 2007 at Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was
born at Osgood on March 4, 1910 the daughter of Bert and Emma
Webster Rich, both deceased. She married Benjamin Dunbar and
he preceded her in death on February 15, 1985.
Survivors include daughter Gertrude and husband Huck Francis
of Osgood; daughter-in-law Bernice Dunbar of Osgood; six grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by infant son Benjamin and son John;
sisters Clara Holmes, Vivian Gorra and Madge Warmoth.
Mrs. Dunbar was a member of the Osgood United Methodist Church
and a past member of the DAR Ross Run Chapter.
Visitation will be today, Thursday, February 1 from 10:00 a.m.

follow. Burial will be in the Mud Pike Cemetery in Osgood.

Mae Miller
Mae Miller, 88, of Versailles passed away Tuesday, January 30,
2007 at the Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison.
She was born near Holton on February 4, 1918 the daughter of
Carl and Nellie Knapp Rheinfrank. She was married to Oral Miller
on August 6, 1939 and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her stepdaughter Betty Skelton of Versailles;
one brother Harold Rheinfrank of Brazil, several nieces and
nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, stepsons Charles
R. Miller and Jack Miller, her brothers Alfred, Denver and Roy
Rheinfrank, her sisters Ruth Canada and Mildred Edwards, and
her nephews Alfred Canada and Lee Henderson.
Mrs. Miller was a former employee of the Delaney Wood Heel Factory
and the White Pine Restaurant in Versailles. She was a member
of the Versailles American Legion Auxiliary and the Versailles
Church of Christ and had been active for several years at the
Versailles Senior Center.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 2 at 12:00 p.m.
at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Dale
Day officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in
Versailles. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until
time of services.

Cynthia Kay Mistler
Cynthia Kay Mistler, 58, of Greensburg passed away Wednesday,
January 31, 2007 at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born
at Batesville on October 19, 1948 the daughter of Maurice Vincent
and Rosemary Simon Mistler of Osgood and they survive.
Survivors also include sister Kathleen Ann and husband Bob Lustig
of Osgood and special friend Paul Schoettner of Greensburg.
Ms. Mistler graduated from Jac-Cen-Del High School in Osgood.
She was a past employee of Union Bank & Trust of Greensburg.
She also worked for Hooks Drug Store and then CVS Drug
Store of Greensburg for 27 years. Ms. Mistler was a member of
St. Marys Church in Greensburg.
Visitation will be Monday, February 5 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Neals
Funeral Home in Osgood. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday,
February 6 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Maurice Catholic Church
in Napoleon. Burial will be in the St. Maurice Cemetery.

Charles E. Barbe
Charles E. Barbe, 65, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Sunday,
January 28, 2007 at Flowers Hospital, Dothan, AL. He was born
at Winchester, VA, on December 12, 1941 the son of Charles and
Lucy Keller Barbe, both deceased. He married Mindy Green, formerly
of Osgood, and she survives.
Survivors also include daughter Staci LeAnn and husband Michael
Pearce of Atlanta, GA; and mother-in-law Wilma Green, Versailles.
Mr. Barbe retired from Ft. Rucker as a flight instructor after
more than 20 years. He owned and operated Restoration by Appointment
in Enterprise. Mr. Barbe was a member of the Jubilee Masonic
Lodge and the St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 10:00
a.m. at the New Benham Cemetery near Versailles.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or
the Arthritis Association.

Raymond A. "Boz" Bloemer, 85, of Batesville,
died Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at St. Andrews Health Campus.
