The Milan Middle School and High School wrestlers, mat maids and coaching staff of 2008 were recognized at their annual awards program on Friday, April 4, at the Milan High School Cafetorium.
Head Indian Wrestling Coach, Roy Adams, opened the program with a welcome to all and introduced the middle school wrestling coach, Adrian Wilburn, who proceeded to introduce the Milan MS wrestling team members.
Coach Adams in continuing, emphasized to the young crowd the importance of their work and the potential he hopes to see them develop into as they advance into the high school program. Not merely as athletes in the wrestling program, but in the most important aspect of school, "learning".

The once titled 30+ Wins Club, took on a whole new concept when the shirts came back labeled the Dickey 30+ Win Club. Much laughter resulted in the presentation of the shirts, though senior Josh Dickey truly went 44-2 on the season this year to become the "Most Single Season Record Holder" at Milan. Pictured from left are senior 30+ season winners: Justin Miller, Josh Dickey, Nick Yatsko and Tanner Roark. Not pictured is sophomore Jared Huff, who also earned the honor with his season's performance.
