Jac-Cen-Del Eagle fall sports athletes are honored

Continuing the Jac-Cen-Del tradition of honoring student effort and achievement, the annual JCD fall sports awards program was held on Thursday, October 29. in the JCDHS gym.
JCD Athletic Director Mark Meyer opened the program with the jr high portion at 6 p.m. with a cordial welcome to athletes, their parents and other guests. AD Meyer spoke proudly of the students' commitment and hard work to not only represent JCD well athletically, but for remaining solid students academically while giving several days a week to sports as well.

Coach Dedra Montgomery introduced her Lady Eagle team. Team members included: Kelsey Bowling, Tiffany Burton, Brittany Scott, Erin Gloyd, Kim Hauser, Hailey Brashears, Kelsey Foster, Maggie Grow, Chasity McNew and Sasha Wagner.

JCD Lady Eagle Golf Coach Chad Pindell led his team to a regional appearance at Greensburg. The team posted a season record of 18-12, noting that one of those wins early on in the season came at the expense of the South Ripley Lady Raiders, who had an excellent team and season this year.
