Two aircared from Easter Sunday crash

At about 10:45 a.m. Sunday, April 4 officers from the Ripley County Sheriff's Office responded to this scene at the intersection of County Road 450 S and US 421. Exactly how the vehicles came to be in the positions they are is unclear, but police say Cody J. Gullion, 16, of Osgood, was traveling south on US 421 when Jonathan L. Brison, 35, of Versailles, was heading west and crossed the highway in front of the Gullion vehicle. Two of the six occupants of the Brison vehicle were taken by helicopter to the University of Cincinnati Hospital. The accident is still under investigation by Cpl. Rob Bradley. Also responding to the scene were New Marion Fire, Versailles Fire, Truck 61, two units from Rescue 69, Medics, PHI Air Care and University Air Care. No other information was available at press time.
