12th Annual South Dearborn Coed Cross Country Invitational is held

Eighteen schools were represented in the 12th annual running of the South Dearborn High School hosted Coed Cross Country Invitational Meet which was held on Saturday, September 17.
Beautiful weather and positive attitudes abounded during the event, which got underway at 9 a,m, with the varsity girls taking the lead.
Though all schools ran in the same race, results were posted for schools by Division I and Division II when awards were presented. StuartRoadRacing.com tabulated competiton results.

OA Lady Twisters are 1st
Once again setting the pace for the girls' race was Ann Kuntz of the Oldenburg Lady Twisters. She finished at 19:35.2. Closely behind her overall winning time were teammates: Sarah Billingsley (2) @ 20:00.3, Bridget Bruns (5) @ 20:39.2, Meredith Maier (6) @ 20:27.2, Rachel Billingsley (7) @ 20:47.4, Courtney Unkrich (15) 23:48.6 and Laura Wilson (15) @ 29:45.4.
Coach Merle Hines' team, the Oldenburg Lady Twisters, were first over Division I and II with 21 team points and an average team spread of 20:21.9.
JCD Lady Eagles - Div II - 2nd
The Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles coached by David Bradshaw earned the Division II second place team finish with their #2 runner Jacqlyn Menchoffer sidelined with an ankle sprain. The Lady Eagle team average was 24:07.7, with a collective score of 89.

SR Lady Raiders - Div. II - 5th
The South Ripley Lady Raider team, behind Coach Meganmarie Dennis, captured the fifth place ribbons in Division II with an average time of 25:02.6 and a point count of 121.

Sophomore Braden Burk led the Switzerland County Pacer team to a first place team finish. He finished at 17:21.6 to lead all rmale runners. SR Raiders - Div II - 2nd
The South Ripley Raiders coached by Jim Cole earned the Division II second place team finish behind Zach Raab, finishing second overall in a rime of 17:41.3. The Raider team average was 18:57.7, with a collective score of 70.
