Team Keene battled Team Jolly for shot at top spot in league, but fell short at season's end

Team Keene faced a must win to stay in the run for the league championship against Team Jolly on Tuesday, July 9.

With only nine players they found themselves trailing after two innings by three runs. They responded to take a 4-3 lead in the top of the fifth only to find Jolly edging back in front 6-4 in the bottom.

A Leonetti solo home run left them trailing by one at 5-6, but Team Jolly scored to regain a two run lead after six complete innings.

Team Keene rallied for eight runs in the top of the seventh, then held Team Jolly to only two scores in the bottom to evolve as the 13-9 victor!

With the summer battles heat'n up, League Playoffs began on Tuesday evening, July 16.
