Began supporting PDS by coordinating implementation of Square D Company systems into their architecture. Performed network administration duties with an NT server running Exchange, supporting 120+ users for transition from single site with an ISP to corporate WAN setup. Set up automated retrieval of data off the internet. Support & setup of sales force automation database. Phased out a Novell server. Implemented 100baseT network. Implemented Terminal Server. Integrated Novell 5 in with existing MS network.   Implemented IIS server for intranet use and testing.

1995-1999 Software Engineer/System Administrator

Cadd system administrator for two plants. Worked with a TCP/IP network in a Netware environment, DEC/OpenVMS server, Dos/Windows3.1, Windows NT 3.51 & 4.0 workstations(hardware and software). I wrote software specifications for engineering, presented specs to centralized programming staff, tested/implemented the software and trained the users. I maintained the software procedures and instruction manuals with html documents on an internal server. Earlier duties for this job were to write programs, coordinate system changeout/upgrade from Prime & Unix systems to OpenVMS, coordinate conversion of shop equipment to DNC capability, implement electronic drawing viewing throughout both facilities. Have also worked on enlarging an existing 10baseT ethernet network and converting a token ring network to ethernet (10baseT).

Performed various duties including testing, production engineering, custom drawings, production drawings, material lists, application engineering, internal ISO9000 auditor.

Worked as freight sorter, load/unload airplanes.
