issues and played a key role in performance testing the system. Service
representative productivity was improved by over 35%. Made use of client/server
development tools including Microsoft Visual Basic, ActiveX, DCOM, BEA Tuxedo, C++,
Oracle, and IBM MQ Series.
-
Architecture, Design, and Development of system interfaces to comply with
the Telecommunications Act of 1996. Made use of various technologies including
Microsoft Visual Basic, ActiveX, ADO, Microsoft Transaction Server,
CORBA, EDI, and IBM MQ Series.

C++ class library for use on a very high volume OLTP government system.
CSC
: 1994-1995
-
Provided comprehensive architecture reviews for a variety of projects.
These reviews methodically examine all issues related to the application
architecture including performance, error recovery, operations, administration,
maintenance, and management. They are designed to help team members openly
bring issues to the table and to document those issues so that they can
be clearly understood and resolved.
-
Trained and led a team of consultants in the development of Tuxedo services
for a major pharmaceutical application. These services were constructed
in part using a reusable architecture (the Drop-In Architecture) for which
Mr. Cunningham was a primary designer and developer. The platform makes
use of Tuxedo, PowerBuilder, Rogue Wave Tools.h++, and C++ technologies
for application construction in a three-tier object-oriented client/server
environment. Developers inexperienced in these technologies used the Drop-In
Architecture to become productive with learning curves typically as short
as one week. The Drop-In Architecture was nominated for CSC's 1995 Technical
Excellence Award.
-
Trained and led a group of analysts at a major on-line service provider
on the development of a new client/server based invoice generation system.
The system provides customized invoice formats in PostScript format. Provided
consultation and leadership in the use of object-oriented client/server
technologies which were unfamiliar to the members of the development team.
This application also made use of Drop-In Architecture batch components.
-
Provided on-site consultation and training on the use of the client/server
object oriented technologies for 5 domestic and international projects.
The training was video-taped and has been in use to help train new team
members.
CBIS
