Southwestern Hanover High School hosts 2014 Annual SIWC Wrestling Meet

Though old man winter delivered another gusty blast of the white stuff and temps dropped again, the 2014 Annual Southern Indiana Wrestling Conference Meet hosted at Southwestern Hanover High School went on without a hitch.

Many thanks to SIWC meet scorer Tom Spurgeon of Southwestern Hanover HS for information regarding wrestling results from Saturday's, Jan. 18, Southern Indiana Wrestling Conference.

At the end of the day, the Milan Indian team finished in second place with 203 pts.

A vote by participating team coaches named 152# senior Southwestern Hanover Rebel Austin Spray the Most Valuable Wrestler. Senior Southwestern Hanover Rebel Austin Spray won champion of his 152# weight class, despite having just recently returned after being off for most of the season with a broken wrist.
