Harlem Wizards and Milan All-Stars to put on show

The Moving MES Forward Foundation will be hosting a basketball game featuring the Harlem Wizards and the Milan All-Stars. The Milan All-Stars team will be made up of Milan alumni.

The game will be held on Wednesday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m. (doors will open at 5:30 p.m.) at Milan High School.

“This will be a night of trick-hoops and alley-oops brought to you by the Harlem Wizards and the Moving MES Forward Foundation, a great family event for all,” said Jane Rogers, principal at Milan Elementary.

Tickets are available at the Milan schools and at the Reservation Restaurant in Milan. Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for general admission in advance of game day and $10 for students and $12 for general admission at the door.

SR Homecoming King and Queen

Pictured at left is the South Ripley High School Homecoming Royalty. Kelsey Cumberworth was named Queen, and Austin Halcomb, King. She is the daughter of Mike and Lynn Cumberworth, and he is the son of Shawn and Tammy Halcomb. The homecoming festivities were centered around the basketball game against the Milan Indians on Friday, January 24.
