Lady Raiders win over Lady Indians, 54-44

Gary Franklin
SPORTS EDITOR

Behind the leadership of new head coach Bob Bressert, the Milan Lady Indians Varsity Basketball Team showed up in solid fashion to challenge the neighboring South Ripley Lady Raiders led by head coach Kevin Mack on Saturday morning, Nov. 29, where the Tribe erupted from the center court tip to score the first basket of the game. The eventual 54-44, final score for a 10 point Lady Raiders edge at games close misrepresents the battle waged throughout the game to within just two minutes remaining the contest.
