2014 Annual Milan Indians Basketball Alumni Weekend
Milan varsity boys victory over South Dearborn Knights

A seemingly ever illusive, “go-as-scheduled weekend” of late found sports activities able to actually progress on the originally scheduled date at Milan High School, where they hosted their annual Milan Indians Basketball Alumni weekend games while celebrating the 60th year since their ’54 State Championship victory march. Other rescheduled activities following a long list of postponed and cancelled activities over the past several weeks found their way to completion on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 7 and 8.
The annual MHS alumni game action began at approximately noon with hardwood action up to Milan Lady Indians varsity action against the visiting South Dearborn Lady Knights. The SD Lady Knights varsity won the opener by a final count of 67-48 over the hosting Milan Lady Indians. No further stats of the game were reported.
Following conclusion of the girls game action, Coach Josh Blankinship’s Milan Indians varsity boys basketball team met at center court for the tip against the visiting South Dearborn Knights led by Head Coach Rick Shumate, for the days finale on the hardwood.
