St. Louis Lady Cardinals escape South Ripley Lady Raider surge to claim SEI 8th grade title

The annual Southeastern Indiana Girls Jr. High Basketball Tournament was held Monday, March 10, through Thursday, March 13, at various sights, with the championship played at Milan High School on Thursday.
As eighth grade action played out over the three-day event, the South Ripley Lady Raiders, behind Coach Shannon Schmaltz, finished as the runner-up by a mere two point loss to the St. Louis Lady Cardinals, 29-31.
