Merrill Demaree
Merrill Demaree, 71, of Speedway, Indiana, transitioned from this worldly life in the early hours of Friday, August 15, 2014. He passed peacefully at home with family nearby. Merrill was born July 22, 1943, in New Marion, Indiana, the son of Geneva and Robert Demaree.
He is survived by two sons, Jeff and Aaron Demaree; two daughters-in-law, Kimberly and Debbie Demaree; four grandchildren, Addison Demaree, Elijah Quinn Demaree, Aaron Michael Demaree, and Brittany Marshall; three siblings, Robert Demaree, Evelyn Strubbe, and Carol Evans. He was predeceased by his wife, Annette Demaree; granddaughter, Isabelle Demaree; and three sisters, Ruth Mendenhall, Sherla Leona Demaree and Leah Panarisi.
The family will hold a private ceremony to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice in Merrill’s memory.
Gail Jean (Palmer) Carpenter
Gail Jean (Palmer) Carpenter, 54, of Sunman, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, Sunman, with funeral services immediately following. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Sunman.
