Carolyn Bolt

Carolyn Bolt, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away at her home on Friday, March 20, 2015. Carolyn was born Tuesday, May 21, 1957, in Johnson County, Indiana the daughter of Robert and Doris (Ashbrooke) Stogsdill. She married Colin Bolt May 13, 1984 and he survives.

She was a homemaker, loved animals, and being with her family.

Carolyn is survived by husband, Colin; sons Gene (Misty) Stogsdill, Chris (Kathleen) Bolt both of Indianapolis; grandchild Tyler Stogsdill; mother Doris Roy of Franklin; brothers Robert (Shirley) Stogsdill of Columbus, Mike Stogsdill of Indianapolis, Jerry (Tammy) Stogsdill of Greenwood and sister Donna (Joe) Gorman of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by grandchild Faith Carol Lynn Stogsdill and sister Diane Stogsdill.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 25 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan with Pastor Todd Poynter officiating. Burial will follow in Cliff Hill Cemetery at Versailles. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Ripley County Humane Society. Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan are entrusted with arrangements. Brenda Kaye Sizemore

Brenda Kaye Sizemore, 65, of Osgood, was born January 28, 1950, at Bypro, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Melba Thompson Vanosdol. Brenda married Carl Sizemore on October 7, 1967 and to this union three children were born. He preceded her in death July 4, 1993.

Brenda was a past 22-year employee of US Shoe, following this she had worked for Thomas & Skinner both located in Osgood. Brenda also had been a bartender for the Amvets of Osgood and Versailles. Her last 13 years of her working life, she had spent as a private health care provider. Along with raising her family & working, she also had been a member of the following organizations; Moose Lodge of Madison, Osgood Legion Women’s Auxiliary, ABATE, and lifetime member of Amvets of Versailles. Her children stated that she had been a wonderful loving mother and grandmother. Brenda loved the great outdoors, cooking and especially playing bingo. Brenda passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include son: Rick (Angel) Sizemore of Holton; daughters: Melissa (David) Robinson of Greensburg, Brandi (Mike) Gossett of Osgood; brothers: John Victor (Pal) Vanosdol of Knightsville, Wayne David (Cindy) Vanosdol of Holton; sister: Linda Gaye (Jack) Bustle of Holton; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren. One grandchild, Carl Austin Taylor, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 21 at Neal’s Funeral Home, Osgood, with burial in the Cliff Hill Cemetery, Versailles. Memorials may be given to donor’s choice or the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Neal’s funeral Home, Osgood. www.nealsfuneralhome.net.


Ann Peaslee


Ann Peaslee, 74, of Versailles passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on February 7, 1941, the daughter of Lowry and Anna Mae McCarty Hancock. She was married to Virgil Peaslee on June 18, 1958 and he preceded her in death on December 5, 1998.

Survivors include two sons Jeff (Martha) Peaslee of Versailles, and Greg Peaslee of Seymour; one daughter Paula (Robert) Kress of Westport; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; one brother Jim (Donita) Hancock of Chelsea. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter-in-law Karen Peaslee.

Mrs. Peaslee attended the Saluda High School in Jefferson County. She had worked as an attendant at the former Muscat State Hospital in Butlerville and also as a CNA at the Decatur Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. She had also driven for Classic Medic Cab in Greensburg and was an advertising consultant for WYGS radio in Columbus. Ann was a member of the Cedars of Lebanon Church in Dillsboro.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 26 at 12 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Charles Hill of the Cedars of Lebanon officiating. Burial will be in the Tanglewood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice in care of the funeral home.


Lillian J. Beneker Knue

Lillian J. Beneker Knue, 80, of Sunman passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 in Indianapolis. Friends may celebrate Lillian’s life with the family from 5 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, Sunman. The rosary will be said at 4:45 p.m. March 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Sunman. Burial will follow in the St. Nicholas Cemetery.

Bettie Jean Hudson

Bettie Jean Hudson, 75, of Dillsboro, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at her home. Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, March 24 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Hope Baptist Church, Dillsboro. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Aurora. DeVries Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Joyce Lee Davis, 73, of Greensburg passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. Memorial services were held Saturday, March 21 at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville.

Ellen Elizabeth Ogden, 95, of Osgood, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Manderley Health Care Center, Osgood. Funeral services were held Monday, March 23 at Neal’s Funeral Home, Osgood. Renee Molter

Renee Molter, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015. A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church of Manchester, Indiana at 12 noon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Cook Rosenberger Funeral Homes, Sunman and Brookville have been entrusted with the arrangements.
