Eagles double down on Hilltoppers

On Wednesday evening, May 6, both the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles varsity baseball and varsity softball teams found wins against the Madison Shawe Hilltoppers. The Eagles baseball team behind junior hurler Tyler Huff battled to a “No Hitter” except for the two batters he hit by a pitch, while the team rallied to a five inning, 10 run rule victory at 10-0.

Lady Eagle varsity softball
Lady Eagles Varsity Softball Team found their efforts rewarded, as well in action, over six innings played against the Lady Hilltoppers where they too forced early stoppage of the contest at six innings by the 10 run rule at 11-1.

Lady Eagles junior hurler Andrea Adams productively placed a total of 98 pitches toward a victory after six innings facing 31, where they had 9H, 1R, 1ER, 3BBs with 2Ks. The Lady Eagles efforts under new coach Jacob Todd have earned respect of the teams they play, as they are indeed a competitive and determined lot with new confidence and a sense of urgency to be reckoned with.
