Milan Lady Indians celebrate with a little war dance on the infield following the Switzerland County High School hosted 2015 IHSAA Class 2A Girls Softball Sectional Championship victory at 12-2 in the sixth inning over the Southwestern Hanover Lady Rebels. The Lady Indians face Providence with action slated for Tuesday, June 2.

The Lady Milan Indians won their SCHS Sectional site hosted opener over the North Decatur Lady Chargers, 12-6. As proved to be the case, this would be their true test with the Chargers, not a member of the seven school ORVC conference which includes Jac-Cen-Del, South Ripley, Rising Sun, Southwestern Hanover, Switzerland County and Madison Shawe Memorial, whom the Tribe defeated twice each during their regular season slate. For that matter, the Tribe had only experienced defeat three times on the season in total.
