Paul Martin Scholle

Paul Martin Scholle, 68 of Osgood, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Margaret Mary Hospital, in Batesville. He was born June 9, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Martin Herman and Alma T. Ruther Scholle. Paul married Mary Philomena Massie on July 29, 1967 in Frankfort, KY and she survives at home.

Mr. Scholle was a Vietnam Marine Veteran and a member of the Napoleon VFW and the Osgood American Legion.

Paul was a past banking employee of the Franklin County National Bank in Brookville and was a 22-year vice president of the Ripley County Bank. He did tax preparations for approximately 40 years. He was also a member of the Ripley County Flywheelers and enjoyed gardening and antiques.

Survivors include his wife, Mary P. Scholle of Osgood; sons, Andrew Paul (Mary) Scholle of Greensburg, Christopher David Scholle of Hawaii and Michael Anthony Scholle of Napoleon; daughter, Mary Angela (Rob) Bradley of Napoleon; brothers, Jerome Scholle of Chicago, IL and Philip Scholle of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.

One brother, Robert Scholle and one sister, Mary Scholle preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 10 at St. Maurice Catholic Church, Napoleon, at 10 a.m. with burial in the church cemetery. Graveside military services will be provided by the Osgood American Legion and the Napoleon VFW Post. Memorials may be given to the Napoleon Fire Department or Rescue 69 c/o funeral home. Evelyn A. Weber

Evelyn A. Weber, 90 of Greensburg, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Evelyn was born on December 17, 1922 in Napoleon, the daughter of Charles and Ada Myers. Evelyn was a 1940 graduate of the Napoleon High School. On July 14, 1940 she married John L. Weber in Batesville and he preceded her in death on August 17, 2002.

Evelyn worked at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital as housekeeping supervisor for 34 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Smyrna Lutheran Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include three sons, Jerry (Linda) Weber of Osgood, and Jim (Debbie) Weber and Steve Weber of Greensburg; one sister, Edith (Cliff) Walke of Greensburg; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, grandson Keith Weber, granddaughter Kim Weber, sister Mary Foster, and brother Cecil Myers.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 11, from 4-8 p.m. at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, Greensburg. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 12 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Smyrna Lutheran Cemetery.
