Alex Schoettmer a JCD senior, recently signed a Letter of Intent to play baseball for Indiana University Southeast.

Indiana University Southeast Head Baseball Coach Ben Reel, stated, “Alex Schoettmer is a big addition to our 2014 recruiting class. He is a proven high school pitcher, with a tremendous track record and has had a chance to play for one of the most respected coaches in the state in Coach Bradshaw.
He is a competitive kid, who will add much needed left-handed depth to our pitching staff for the future.”
He further added, “The southeastern part of Indiana is great for us in recruiting, as we try to find a lot of undiscovered talent in an area full of quality baseball. We hope to maintain strong ties with recruiting in this part of state for years to come.”
