Otto Adolph Duschl

Otto Adolph Duschl, 100 of Milan, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. He was born October 31, 1913, in Olmsted, IL. His parents were John and Clara Huppert Duschl. Otto married Marjorie L. Housman on October 31, 1948 and she preceded him in death on September 25, 1980.

Otto was a WW II Army Veteran. He was a member of the Versailles American Legion and the Milan VFW. He had served as a master plumber for 40 years. Fishing, hunting and the restoration of steam engines were things that he had especially enjoyed in his life.

Survivors include daughter, Jana (Joel) Denninger of Greensburg; sister, Josephine Mueller of Anna, IL; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon and Elmer Duschl; also by two sisters, Louise Woodard and Rosemary Crowell.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 3,0 at Neal’s Funeral Home, Osgood. Burial was in the Anna City Cemetery, Anna, Illinois. Memorials may be given to the Bibleway Church of Oldenburg. Arrangements by Neal’s Funeral Home, Osgood; www.nealsfuneralhome.net.

Charlee A. Wolf

Charlee A. Wolf, 81, of St. Leon, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013. Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 4, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Bright Christian Church with Pastor Jeff Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Bright Christian Church in care of Meyers Funeral Home. Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, is in charge of arrangements.
