Pauline Laverne Buxton

Pauline Laverne Buxton, 86, of Osgood, entered this life on May 18, 1928, in Loveland, Ohio. She was the loving daughter of Ralph and Mary McFee.

Pauline had long been a resident and community member of Osgood. She was a graduate of the Class of 1946 from Withrow High School. She was united in marriage to F. Robert Buxton on December 10, 1949, and to this union arrived a daughter and a son to bless their home. Pauline was a housewife for the vast portion of marriage and then helped with bookkeeping at the family business G. A. Triplett, which continues to serve the community today. She enjoyed her family and was a member of the Eastern Star, Tri Kappa, and the Osgood United Methodist Church. Pauline died on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Manderley Health Care in Osgood.

Pauline was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, F. Robert Buxton; and her parents Ralph and Mary McFee. She is survived by her son Robert G. and wife Beverly Buxton of Osgood; daughter Sharon and husband Robert Zehr of Indianapolis; and sister Norma Grillot of Centerville, Ohio. She is also survived by her grandchildren Tricia and husband Justin Derringer of Lancaster, Ohio; Dionne and husband Gary Jewell of Cicero, IN; Robert and wife Erica Buxton of Manhattan Beach, CA; Jennifer and husband Christopher Beth of Westfield, IN; Jason and wife Anne Zehr of Chicago, IL; Joey Zehr and wife Kate Albrecht of Los Angeles, CA; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be conducted on Friday, May 22 at Greendale Cemetery by Pastor Tommy Beatley. Memorial contributions may be made to the Osgood United Methodist Church. Cards are available at the funeral home. Neal’s Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Rusty Reed, 56, of Batesville, formerly of Versailles, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015. Visitation will be Thursday, May 21 from 4 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville. Memorials are suggested to Meyers Funeral Home, P.O.
