Varsity
JCD vs. Milan
Varsity battles opened with Milan Lady Indians against the Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles where JCD played to an extended lead, just shy of enough of the action to actually capture the first game win, falling to the Lady Indians 23-25 in the best of three game match. However, the style of the day had been established with tight battles to follow. The second game of the opening match found JCD the 25-16 victor, before squeezing out the match victory with their third set 17-15 where they would anxiously await the outcome of the South Ripley vs. Batesville match to learn who they would meet in the championship contest action.

Varsity
SR vs. Batesville
Varsity action continued with the hosting South Ripley Lady Raiders falling to the Batesville Lady Bulldogs in their opening action 23-25. However, the Lady Raiders were not to drop their chin and surrender but ignited into another gear to overtake the Lady Bulldogs 25-19, forcing a third set to 15. A win in each of the teams column meant all out war for the opportunity to advance to the championship game against the awaiting Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles. Momentum back in South Ripley’s corner, the Lady Raiders stepped up to the challenge to establish a 10 point, 15-5 victory to move onward of the match 15-5 over Batesville.

Varsity Title Match
South Ripley vs. Jac-Cen-Del
Vigorous action between the hosting rival SR Lady Raiders and visiting JCD Lady Eagles resulted in a back to back Lady Raider title earning outing by game scores of 25-16 and 25-22 . All four teams proudly represented their schools with sportsmanship in solid competitive fashion. Nice job ladies and coaches.
