Milan Indians tennis match results reported

Milan Indian Boys Head Tennis Coach Zach Wade, finds his team searching for resurgence after a major loss with the numerous senior members graduating in 2015.

Tribe vs. Tigers
Reports received find a Wednesday, Sept. 2, match against the Lawrenceburg Tigers positive with a 4-1 victory for the tribe. Indian winners included: #1 singles Jordan Burton, #2 singles Brent Quatman, #3 singles Jake Laub and #1 doubles – Josh Bixler/Peyton Cann.

Milan vs. Shawe
A Thursday, Aug. 27 boys tennis match was cancelled as Shawe has no team

Tribe vs. Knights
Milan fell 2-3 as they battled at South Dearborn High School on Wednesday, Aug. 26. Indian winners included #1 singles Jordan Burton in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 and #1 doubles Josh Bixler and Peyton Cann 6-7. 7-6. 6-2. Indian JV winner with his 1st victory was Dalton Messer, winning 8-4.

Tribe falls to Jets
Milan fell 1 – 4 after a long ride to Hauser High School on Monday, Aug. 24. The Indian winner for the evening was Brent Quatman. Milan at Batesville
Just a second match into the new season, Tuesday, Aug. 18, proved to be a rough night for the Indian boys tennis team as they fell in battle 0-5 to the hosting Batesville Bulldogs.

Milan vs. Jennings County
The Monday, Aug. 17 boys tennis season opener at MHS against the visiting Jennings County Panthers found the tribe 1-4 at matches conclusion.
