Mary Elizabeth Carroll Self
Mary Elizabeth Carroll Self, 90, of Indianapolis, died Sunday, October 2, 2016. She was born February 17, 1926 in Holton, to Clarison and Lula Ward Carroll. Mary was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her sisters Agatha Carroll, Lois Smith, brothers Virgil Carroll, Robert Burtch, niece Linda Williams, and her infant son.
Mary Elizabeth is survived by her nephews, Alan (Marilyn) Smith, Noel (Rhonda) Burtch, great nieces Kathy, Lacy, Amy, Lisa, Karissa, Danielle, great nephews Gayle, Douglas, Harrison, Ryan, Austin, great great niece Eisley, and stepsons John Self and Tim Schicladanz.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 6 from 6 – 7:30 at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Funeral services will be Friday, October 7 at 11 am at Hopewell Baptist Church in Holton with visitation an hour before service. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery. Memorial may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church. Tributes may be made at www.feeneyhornakshadeland.com.
