Annual MHS hosted 6-Way Wrestling Invitational held

Thanks to information relayed by Milan High School Athletic Director John Prifogle, results of the annually hosted early season Milan 6-Way Wrestling Invitational are posted. The tribe found three team members earning Weight Class Champion Title honors at venues end. They were freshman Shane Lonneman at 106, senior Adam Brinkman at 152 and junior Logan Miles at 160.

Amidst the competition weight levels, the South Dearborn Knights collected five championship titles. including sophomore Austin Boggs (120), junior Garrett Walton (126), senior Cainan Schaefer (132), sophomore Zack Otto (138), and senior Brandon Carpenter (285).

Lawrenceburg Tigers collected five weight class titles with junior Mason Parris (220), senior Sam Tibbetts (195), junior Jonah Rolfes (182), junior David Rabius (170) and freshman Andrew Roth (145), while Rushville Lion freshman Lowell Joya earned the day’s top honor in his weight class of (113). Represented in the event with no Titles earned were the Batesville Bulldogs and the Union County Patriots. Officiating the annual event were Glenn Crocker, Orlando Fontanez and Jack Locker.
