Megan delivered a fourth place finish in the 2017 Shelbyville hosted Cross Country Sectional, held at Blue River Memorial Park on Saturday, October 14. This qualified her to advance to Semi-State as the only runner from Jac-Cen-Del, Milan and South Ripley. Her Semi State run is slated at Shelbyville Blue River Memorial Park on Saturday, October 21.
Positive 2017 JCD Eagle soccer season ends at Regional

Coach Derek Jones led the 2017 Jac-Cen-Del Eagle Varsity Soccer Team to an ORVC Conference Championship Title, with their win over the hosting rival South Ripley Raiders. This was the final regular season game action with their 2-1 game victory, which also earned them the Matt Obendorf Traveling Pride Trophy for 2017. JCD followed the positive season with an IHSAA Boys Sectional Championship, but fell by a mere point, 0-1 in Regional action on Saturday morning, October 14, to S. Knox at the Providence HS hosted Regional.
