Dorothy “Dottie” Adams


Dorothy “Dottie” Adams, 71, of Jeffersonville, formerly of Versailles, passed away at 1:45 a.m. Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville. She was born at Jeffersonville on November 26, 1943, the daughter of Grover and Lillian Ollinger Barrett. She was married to Kenneth Adams on May 18, 1963 and he preceded her in death on November 5, 2009.

Survivors include two daughters, Angie Eldridge of Lebanon and Amy (Barry) Noah of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Katie Noah, Cody and Chase Eldridge; four brothers, James (Janice) Barrett of Charlestown, Bill (Liz) Barrett of Henryville, John (Ginger) Barrett of Casper, Wyoming, and Rick (Becky) Barrett of Forest Lake, Minnesota; two sisters, Barbara (Fred) Branstetter of Jeffersonville and Karen Schneider of Henryville. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her sister Kathy Boldt, and her brothers David, Steven, and Donald Barrett.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3 at 10:30 a.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Mike Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Raymond Albert “Al” Kerner, Jr., 82, of Sunman, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2 at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, Sunman. Services at the funeral home will begin at 1 p.m. Burial with full military honors will take place immediately following services in St. Paul Cemetery, Sunman.
