Racing season 2015 culminates at Kentucky Speedway

Reed captures ARS Crosley Brands 150

A familiar stop for the local racing faithful crowd is the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky, where their final weekend of racing was held on September 25 and 26; however, Mother Nature would dictate the actual running date as rains on Friday forced the events be rescheduled for Saturday Sept. 27.

NASCAR racer Ryan Reed drove his way to a victory in the ARS Crosley Brands 150 featured, at Kentucky Speedway in just his second ARCA Racing Series start of 2015, and his first Kentucky Speedway win, while operating the No. 38 Lira Motorsports Ford. Reed’s margin of victory earned him the third closest finish of all-time at KS by a narrow 0.356 of a second. Again, the game of inches and milliseconds all adds up when the checkered flag drops to determine the victor. Second place was claimed by Travis Braden, third – David Levine, fourth – Ross Kenseth with Grant Enfinger rounding out the top five finishers.
