Margaret Daulton

Margaret Daulton, 93, Milan, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Ripley Crossing in Milan. Margaret was born Thursday November 17, 1921 in Somerset, Ky., the daughter of Olno and Opal (Mayfield) Girdler. She married Willie Daulton October 30, 1948 and he preceded her in death November 2, 1976.

Margaret was a homemaker, enjoying sewing and embroidering. She was an excellent seamstress, and she loved to watch the game show channels. Whenever someone (a family member, friend, or a stranger) was feeling down she was an excellent listener. The most important part of her life was her family.

Margaret is survived by her sons: Richard (Kathy) Daulton of Las Vegas, NV, Wayne (Chris) Daulton of Batesville; daughters: Donna (Ken) Marr of Ft. Wayne, Verna Daulton of Lawrenceburg, Wanda (Kendall) Ludeker of Milan; sister: Eleanor Zimmermann of Batesville; sister-in-law: Irene VanHooser Bethel, OH; brother-in-law: Bill Bradley of Milan; 16 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, daughter: Brenda Bradley, three brothers, two sisters one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 29 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan, with Pastor La Joe Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Methodist Cemetery south of Sunman on Hwy 101. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in her memory to Milan or Sunman Life Squad or St. Paul Cemetery Fund. Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan entrusted with arrangements. James L. Branch, 89, Batesville, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville with funeral services immediately following. Burial will be held Saturday, October 31 at 1 p.m. at Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, is entrusted with arrangements.
