Gavin Michael Lee
Gavin Michael Lee was born on September 22, 1999, in Batesville. He passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. The young 15-year-old was a sophomore at Batesville High School. Gavin loved playing baseball, having family game days and playing wiffle ball in the backyard at family gatherings. He also loved spending time with his four cats and three dogs.
Gavin is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kim and Shane Pickett of Versailles, and his father and stepmother, Jeremy and Cheryl Lee of Batesville; his brother Christian Lee; maternal grandparents Barb and Tom Thompson, and paternal grandparents Roger Lee and Peggy Lee; maternal great grandmother Gen Scheidt, along with his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Semi-private funeral services were held Saturday, July 11, at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville. Memorials may be given to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital c/o the funeral home. Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, was in charge of arrangements.
Orga Faye Hillman
A memorial service for Orga Faye Hillman has been set for 10 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 8930 St. Rd. 101, Sunman, In. 47041. The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 8930 St. Rd. 101, Sunman, Indiana 47041.
