Awards banquet honors 2016 fall sports All-Conference athletes

The annually held Awards Honors Banquet of the 2016 Ohio River Valley Conference All ORVC fall sports athletes was held at the Madison Pines restaurant. The event was held Wednesday evening October 26, where Milan High School was the hosting school. The ORVC hosting school duties are rotated through the seven-member schools on a school year basis, with fall being the first of three awards programs they will organize, winter and spring sports programs to follow.
The seven-member schools constituting the ORVC conference include Milan, Jac-Cen-Del, South Ripley, Rising Sun, Madison Shawe, Southwestern Hanover, and Switzerland County. In order to be included in the recognition process, a sport must be an IHSAA sanctioned sport and a minimum of five of the seven ORVC member schools must carry the particular sport. At current time, sports not included due to lack of participation are football, tennis, wrestling, swimming, bowling, and possibly a few others.
