Sonny Lee Richardson

Sonny Lee Richardson, 77, of Milan, passed away at his residence Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Sonny was born August 8, 1939 at Hamilton, Ohio, the son of Charles R. and Hattie J. (Brown) Richardson. He was married to Emma Brown Gilbert and later to Melodie (Carpenter) Richardson who preceded him in death on May 28, 2011.

Sonny was a former employee of Seagram’s in Lawrenceburg. He enjoyed making candles, talking to people, playing cornhole, horseshoes, and his family. He was a very kind person and enjoyed life.

Sonny is survived by daughters, Renae Johnson of Milan, Tonya Richardson of Colorado, Ami Ester of Indianapolis, sons, Tracy Richardson of Lawrenceburg, Robin Richardson of Florida, Eric Richardson of Milan, Russell (Karen) Griffith of Batesville and Christopher (Tera) Furr of Milan; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Sonny will be 12 p.m. Saturday, August 27 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Harris Long officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Sinai Cemetery at Aurora. Visitation will be 10-12 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to either Milan Fire Dept. or Rescue 30. Deborah “Debbie” Sue Tallent

Deborah “Debbie” Sue Tallent, 63, of Holton, formerly of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016. She was born December 8, 1952 in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of Daniel and Edith Nields.

Debbie worked in security for Argosy Casino. She graduated from Aurora High School. Debbie enjoyed camping, watching football, she was a Michigan Wolverines and Cincinnati Bengal’s fan and she also liked to crochet. She loved dogs, she even collected dachshund figurines and she missed her beloved dog, Tally, after he passed away. Debbie loved to nag and aggravate, and her family will greatly miss that and her.

Surviving are husband, Harry Tallent, sons, Robert (Krystal) Tallent, Chad Tallent, grandchildren, Tinity Tallent and Percy Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rochell Pittman.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 29 from 5-7 p.m. at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora. Services will immediately follow visitation. Contributions may be made to PAWS. Robert William Schwegmann

Robert William Schwegmann, 82, of Aurora, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016. He was born on July 8, 1934 to Herman and Marie Filter Schwegmann in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Robert was a 1954 graduate of Versailles High School. Robert worked as a printer for the Cincinnati Enquirer for 34 years before retiring after a 52-year career in the printing trade. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Tri State Print Craft Bowling Association. Robert also enjoyed fishing.

Robert is survived by his sons, David L. Schwegmann of Aurora, Gary W. Schwegmann and James R (Annette) Schwegmann; and grandson, Trenton Wayne Schwegmann. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 47 years, Esther Woliung Schwegmann.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 26 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home in Aurora, with funeral services immediately following. Burial will take place in the St. Paul’s Cemetery in Olean. Memorials are suggested to the St. John Lutheran School.
