Milan Indians upset South Ripley Raiders in final minutes of season opening soccer game, with a goal score by Conner Miles!

Hustle was evident from both Milan and South Ripley, and each had an unwillingness to allow the other an advantage through the first 40 minutes of varsity boys soccer action. In the end, the game was decided in the final two minutes.
Devastating to the home hosting Raiders, Milan Indian junior Conner Miles managed to clear the Raider defenders and goalie and settle his shot into the net for a 1-0 edge and secure a Milan Indians season opener victory, over a solid Raiders team. The first game of the new season for both teams left much to work on and build from.
