After gaining the lead halfway through the final quarter, then falling in the final minutes, the Milan Lady Indians were disheartened with the final score of 42-46 in their Saturday, November 25 on the road battle against the New Washington Lady Mustangs. Coach Bressert stated, "We were ahead right there at the end, and again, just couldn't finish it." For a second time in less than a week, the Lady Indians found the golden ring just out of reach when the final buzzer sounded on Tuesday, November 28, falling to the visiting Switzerland County Lady Pacers, 45-48.
