Lady Raiders, Pacers and Rebels open against Shawe Hilltoppers

The Friday, August 7, 4-Way girls golf season opening match held at Springhills Golf Course in Hanover and hosted by Madison Shawe Memorial Lady Hilltoppers found Shawe winning the match team competition, shooting their round at 176. South Ripley’s Lady Raiders finished in second with a team score of 223. The Switzerland County Lady Pacers claimed third with a team score of 247. Short of having enough players to earn a team score, Southwestern Hanover Lady Rebels were incomplete.

Individual Scores


Shawe’s Hensler and Hambrik both scored rounds of 42, tie for meet medalist. Pawlak and Hertz each added 46 for a team tally of 176. Rounding out the Lady Hilltoppers team, Pennington finished her 9 hole round at 68.

South Ripley
South Ripley’s Mackenzie Black finished her round at 50. Senior teammate Taylor Wrightsman finished at 55. Kylan Brandt shot her round at 57 with Abigail Mathews rounding out the team score of 223 with her round at 61. Lady Raider extras included Kim Adkins at 64 and Samantha Wood at 66.

Switzerland County
Switzerland County’s Ard finished her round at 56; Parr finished at 60; and Tankersley at 62 with King at 69 to their team tally of 247. Lady Pacer Edwards ended her round with a score of 70.

Southwestern Hanover
Southwestern Hanover’s Kyla Harsin shot her round at 52, with teammates Carol Osborn 55 and Megan Morris 58. Tankersley at 62 with King at 69 to t team tally of 247.
