Tickets for cooking school go on sale

Tickets for the upcoming Taste of Home Cooking
School will go on sale September 1, at 8:00 a.m. at the Ripley
Publishing Company office at 115 S. Washington Street, Versailles.
The cost for a ticket is $6.00 each.
The cooking school is scheduled for Thursday, September 29,
at the South Ripley Elementary School. Doors will open that
night at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 7:00 p.m.
There will a number of prizes given throughout
the program and you could win a prize by simply bringing in
Campbell's
labels. Here's how it works. Save Campbell's labels or clip proofs
of purchase from any of the following eligible Campbell products:
· Campbell's Soups including Chunky, Select and Soup
At Hand
· Campbell's Spaghetti Os, Canned Pasta, and Gravies
· Prego Pasta Sauces
· Swanson Broths and Canned Poultry
· Pace Salsa and Picante Sauces
· V8, V8 Splash Juices and Campbell's Tomato Juice
* Pepperidge Farm Breads, Cookies, Crackers,
and Frozen Products
* Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers; and
* Campbell's Food Service Products.
Campbell's Labels for Education Program provides free educational
merchandise in exchange for saving Campbell product labels.
Whether the school selects musical equipment, computers and
software, electronics, sports equipment or classroom accessories,
students will benefit from this highly successful program
As coordinator of the 2005 cooking school event, Linda Chandler,
Publisher of the Osgood Journal and The Versailles Republican
encourages guests at the Taste of Home Cooking School to help
support the student's efforts by bringing Campbell product
labels to the show. A large container will be placed near the
stage to collect all the labels. Cooking School attendees should
be sure to write his/her name on the back of each label, as
a special prize will be awarded to one lucky person toward
the end of the demonstration.
Since 1973, schools and organizations nationwide have received
more than $105 million of free educational equipment through
the Campbell's Labels for Education Program. If you are unable
to attend the cooking school but would still like to participate
in the Taste of Home Cooking School Labels for Education collection
drive, bring your labels to Ripley Publishing Company's office
prior to the show.
