Following the Lady Eagles victory
over the South Ripley Lady Raiders,
52 to 42 on Saturday, November
12, when the JCD Lady Eagles gained
possession of The Ripley Publishing
Co. Inc. sponsored Pride Trophy',
they would have to defend possession
rights quickly against the Lady
Indians of Milan.
With their third season win materializing
against the Oldenburg Lady Twisters,
62-32, on Friday, November 18,
the Lady Eagles faced Milan on
Saturday the 19th.
In a runaway opening quarter of
play at Milan, followed by stability
for the next three quarters, the
Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles wrapped
up their fourth straight victory,
65-48.
First quarter scoring unfolded
for a 22-8 Lady Eagle lead.
The Lady Eagle scoring in the
first quarter came from Janelle
Hardesty with 7 points, the result
of two 2 pt. FG's and a 3pt FG.
Abbey Lauber added with two 2 pt.
FG's for 4 points. Amanda Harmeyer
drained the 3, and Emily Einhaus,
Abby Rohlfing, Kiersten Young,
and Erika Simon, each scored 2
point FG's for a 22 point total.
First quarter scoring for the
Lady Indians was from Kelly Stutler
with a FG and a FT for 3 points,
and Megan Lade with two FG's and
a FT for 5 totaling 8.

In the second quarter the Lady
Eagles' scored 18 points. Their
points were from Lauber with a
2 pt. FG and 2 FT's for 4 points,
Emily Einhaus added two 2 pt. FG's
and a FT for 5 points. Erika Simon

Talena Huff scored a 2 pt FG, and
Kaylin Ploeger added 5 points off
two 2 pt FG's and a FT.
Lady Indian second quarter scoring
netted 21 points from Megan Lade
with a 3 pt. FG, Lacee Alloway
connecting on 3 FT's, Kady Alloway
sinking three 2 pt FG's for 6 points,
and Kiley MacVey circuiting with
a 3pt. FG, two 2 pt. FG's and 2
made FT's for 8 points.

In the third quarter, the Lady
Eagles diminished the 3 point Lady
Indian gain from the second quarter,
out scoring the Indians 14-11.

two 2 pt. FG's for 4 points, Rohlfing
and Harmeyer each with a FG, and
a pair of made free throws by Huff.
