Easter Bunny to be at Holton, Versailles State Park

The Easter Bunny will be at least two places this Saturday, the Holton Community Building from 8-11 a.m. for breakfast and then at 11:00 a.m. at the Versailles State Park for the 12th annual chamber egg hunt.

The first event will be a buffet style breakfast where children can meet with the Easter Bunny, have their pictures taken, participate in activities and win prizes. All proceeds from the event will go to the Holton Jamboree Fund.

After breakfast, you can take your children to the giant Easter Egg Hunt at the Versailles State Park (located just east of Versailles on US 50) where thousands of brightly colored eggs will be hidden.

There are three age categories: 1-3 years of age; 4-6 years of age and 7-10 years of age. In each category there will be eggs with special messages inside telling children they have won an additional prize. The plastic eggs are filled with prizes and candy. Bring your camera to take pictures of the Easter Bunny.

The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. sharp, so come early. There is no gate fee for the morning and Sheriff Bill Davison and officers from his department will be parking vehicles.

This event is sponsored by the Ripley County Chamber of Commerce.
