Timothy "Chop" McIntosh
Timothy "Chop" McIntosh, 51, of Osgood,
passed away Friday, March 23, 2007 at Versailles. He was born
September 11, 1955 the son of Vurlin and Marcella Shook McIntosh,
both deceased.
Survivors include daughter Amy Russell of Osgood; brothers
Vurlin and wife Lisa of Scottsburg, Jerry and wife Connie
of Brookville and Thomas and wife Pam of Versailles; sisters
Joann and husband Frank Vanosdol of Holton, Barbara Jean and
husband Norman Steele of North Carolina, and Marsha Wright
of Versailles; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brother Wm. Taylor and sister
Anna Hawkins.
Mr. McIntosh had been a bartender at the Depot in Osgood.
He was a member of the Osgood American Legion and AmVets.
Mr. McIntosh was a member of the Osgood Christian Church.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m.
at Neals Funeral Home in Osgood.
Gary L. Wolf
Gary L. Wolf, 52, of Gunnison, CO, formerly
of Cincinnati, OH, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2007. He
was born April 29, 1944 the son of Russell and Marcella Reynolds
Wolf, both deceased. He married Connie Vann on September 3,
2002 and she survives.
Other survivors include daughter Heather and husband Jay Adkins
of Oklahoma; brothers David of Williamsburg, OH, James and
wife Linda of Muncie, and Paul of Blue Ash, OH; sisters Kathy
and husband Jay Veatch of Saybrook, IL, and Melissa and husband
Charlie Whalbring of Napoleon; and eleven nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wolf was an accomplished landscape photographer. His art
graces homes throughout the world and has been shown in Oklahoma
City, OK, Crested Butte, CO, Paris, France and New York City.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March
31 at Neals Funeral Home in Osgood at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Center for
the Arts or the Wildflower Festival in Crested Butte, CO in
care of the funeral home.
Carol "Carrie" Jean Meyer
Carol "Carrie" Jean Meyer, 75, of Napoleon, passed
away Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Margaret Mary Community
Hospital in Batesville. She was born September 6, 1931 the
daughter of Wiley and Mildred Kramer Howe, both deceased.
She married Donald Meyer on November 16, 1950 and he survives.
Other survivors include son Michael and wife Shirley of Napoleon;
daughter Amy and husband William Ahaus of Napoleon and grandchildren
Ian and wife Angela of Napoleon.
She was preceded in death by sisters Thelma Meister, Helen
Messer and Jeri Messer.
Mrs. Meyer was a member of the St. Maurice Catholic Church
in Napoleon.
Private family services will be held.

William S. Munchel, 85, of Batesville, passed away Saturday,
March 24, 2007 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held today, Tuesday, March 27 at
10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Church in Oldenburg with burial

Kylah Nicole Ketchum, infant daughter of Andrew and Rachel
Ketchum of Versailles, died at birth on Saturday, March 17,
2007.

Elmo Boyce
Elmo Boyce, 78, of Sunman, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007
at the Waters of Dillsboro. He was born at Canaan on June
7, 1928, the son of Edward and Aldean Herring Boyce. He was
married to Ruby Konkle who preceded him in death in 1976.
He later married Alta Stahl and she survives.
Survivors also include sons Alan and wife Bonnie of Sunman
and Mike and wife Linda of Aurora; daughter Brenda Morris
of Moores Hill; brother Wendal Herring of Lebanon, sister
Donna Higgins of Madison; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren;
five step-grandchildren and eleven step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Mr. Boyce was a WWII Navy veteran. He was a millwright. Mr.
Boyce was a member of the Canaan F&AM Masonic Lodge #581,
the Murat Shrine, the SouthEast Indiana Shrine Club and the
American Legion. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr.
Boyce also volunteered with the Shrine Club.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 19 at 5:30 p.m. at
the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Rev. Harris
Long officiating. Burial was in the Hogan Hill Cemetery with
graveside military services provided by the Milan Legion Post
#235.
Memorials may be given to the Shriners Burns Institute.
Virginia L.
Kellems
Virginia L. Kellems, 75, of Milan, passed away Thursday, March
15, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, OH. She was
born at Siberia on December 2, 1931 the daughter of Henry
and Louise Guntel Haefling. She married Victor Kellems on
August 2, 1952 and he preceded her in death on October 31,
1997.
Survivors include sons Jerry and Dave of Harrison, OH; Mike
of Milan; Tim of Knoxville, TN and John of Alexandria, KY;
daughters Mrs. Judy Scott and Mrs. Joan Campbell both of Milan;
brothers Edwin Haefling of Evanston; Stanley Haefling of French
Lick and Ronnie Haefling of Dubois; twin sister Virlee Jones
of French Lick; and sisters Delores Brosmer of Birds Eye and
Mary Dibble of Des Moines, IA; 35 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son Dan Kellems.
Mrs. Kellems was a homemaker. She was a member of the St.
Charles Catholic Church at Milan and was an active member
of the Milan Food Pantry.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 19 at St. Charles
Catholic Church, Milan, with Father Frank Eckstein officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Milan Food Pantry.

Alta Moore Quicksall
Alta Moore Quicksall, 61, of Osgood, passed
away Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Indiana University Hospital,
Indianapolis, In. She was born at Beattyville, Ky., on April
21, 1945 the daughter of Arch and Norena Crouch Moore (both
deceased). She married Kenneth Ray Quicksall on April 28,
1989 at Carrollton, Ky., and he survives.
Other survivors include: stepdaughters, Jessica Quicksall
and Alisha Quicksall of Shelbyville; brothers, Dillard Moore,
Willis Moore, and Archie Lee Moore, all of Beattyville, Ky.,
and Tyler Moore of Osgood; sisters, Cleta Palmer of Franklin,
Oh., Mary Miller of Osgood, and Geneva Stampter of Carisle,
Oh.; one grandchild, Koulton Herbert.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bert and Ronnie
Dale Moore; one sister, Brenda Stamper.
Mrs. Quicksall had worked at US Shoe in Osgood for 34 years
and had attended Church of Christ in Versailles.
Services were held Sunday, March 18 at Moore's Cemetery, Beattyville,
Ky.
Memorials may go to Versailles Church of Christ c/o funeral

Herman A. Pettit
Herman A. Pettit, 81, of Osgood, passed away
Sunday, March 18, 2007 at his home.
He was born on Bear Creek near Cross Plains on January 14,
1926 the son of James and Tida Scroggins Pettit. He was married
to Ruby Burnside on June 29, 1944 and she preceded him in
death on August 16, 1989. He was married to Jeraldine Robertson
on June 20, 1992 and she survives.
Other survivors include one son Ritchie Pettit and his wife
Darlene of Attica; two daughters, Jerri Thayer and her husband
Doug of Osgood and Darinda Peetz of Greensburg; one stepdaughter
Jan Watts of Madison; two stepsons Doug and Mark Robertson
both of Indianapolis; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bud and
Bill Pettit, and his sisters Edna Poling and Hazel Eades.
Mr. Pettit was a 1944 graduate of Cross Plains High School
and was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was employed with Seagrams
in Lawrenceburg for 42 years. He was a member of the First
Baptist Church in Osgood, the Osgood American Legion, Osgood
Masonic Lodge, Murat Shrine, and the Ripley County 40 &
8.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 21 at 11:00
a.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles
with Rev. Robert Harting of the First Baptist Church of Osgood
officiating. Burial will be in the Greendale Cemetery at Osgood
with military rites by the Osgood American Legion. Visitation
will be Tuesday from 5-8:00 p.m. with Masonic services provided
by the Osgood Masonic Lodge at 7:30 p.m.

Bonnie Louise
Beatty
Bonnie Louise Beatty, 44 of Moores Hill, died Saturday, March
10, 2007 at the Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg. She
was born October 2, 1962 in Lawrenceburg, the daughter of
Cecil Beatty and Verna Lakker Beatty.
Survivors include her mother, Verna Beatty of Moores Hill;
sister, Karen Beatty; uncle, Virgil Lakker; aunt, Donna Lakker;
uncle, Bill Goldfuss and aunt, Ester Goldfuss. She was preceded
in death by her father, Cecil Beatty.
Miss Beatty worked as a manager in housekeeping at the Waters
of Dillsboro for 25 years. She was a member of the Trinity
Lutheran Church in Dillsboro.
Funeral services will be held today, Tuesday, March 13, at
11 a.m. at the Ulrich Filter DeVries Funeral Home in Dillsboro.
Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro.

Viola Mollman, 87, of Rising Sun, passed away Saturday, March
10, 2007 at the Dearborn County Hospital. She was born March
6, 1920 the daughter of John and Anna Hornig Probst, both
deceased. She married Kenneth Mollman and he preceded her
in death.
Survivors include daughters Chandra Mattingly of Rising Sun;
Kay Wind of Ravenna, OH and Lea Mollman of Youngstown, OH;
sons Lee of Piqua, OH, Don of Mason, OH, and Jerry of Columbus,
OH; brother John Probst of Aurora; sister Mary Ann Warren
of Aurora; 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mollman was a homemaker. She was a volunteer for 25 years
with the Girl Scouts.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 15 from 10-11:00 a.m. at
the Filter-DeVries Funeral Home in Aurora. Funeral services
will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will be
in the Riverview Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.

Martha "Marty" McClellan
Martha "Marty" McClellan, 62, of
Batesville, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at her
residence. She was born July 29, 1944 at Hazard, Kentucky,
the daughter of Wallace and June Cornett, both deceased. She
married Lowell McClellan of Butlerville and he survives.
Survivors also include son Ed and wife Prim McClellan of Butlerville;
daughter Vicky and husband Charles McDaniel of North Vernon;
brothers Coy and Wallace "Buck" Cornett; sisters
Brenda Akins and Margaret Harney; three grandchildren and
one great-grandchild.
Mrs. McClellan was a dietary worker at Muscatatuck State Hospital
and a member of the Church of Christ in Greendale.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 3 at the Ulrich-Filter-DeVries
Funeral Home in Dillsboro. Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery,
Dillsboro.

Marguerite C. Wullner
Marguerite C. Wullner, 91, formerly of Milan,
passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the home of her
granddaughter Lisa and husband Jodi Adams of Unionville, TN.
She was born June 24, 1915 at Milan, the daughter of Samuel
and Carrie Struckman Croxton, both deceased. She married Clarence
Wullner on December 25, 1939 and he preceded her in death
on February 24, 1987.
Survivors include daughter Carolyn Covell of Newport Richie,
FL; nephew Kenneth Wullner of Milan; seven grandchildren;
19 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wullner worked for the Kroger Grocery Co. for more than
36 years. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church
and Ladies Aid, the Rebecah Lodge and Senior Citizens. Mrs.
Wullner volunteered for senior programs and nursing homes.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 5 at the St. Paul
Lutheran Church, Milan, with Pastor Richard Mackey officiating.
Burial was in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Rover Missionary Baptist Church
Missionary Fund. Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home was in charge
of arrangements.
