John Stanley Steuri
John Stanley Steuri, 90, of Osgood passed away Monday, April 23, 2007 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. He was born at Napoleon on July 30, 1916 the son of Charles and Clara Straber Steuri. He married Hazel Steuri and she survives.
Survivors also include sons John, James and Jason Steuri all of Osgood and daughter Janice Steuri of Indianapolis; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Stelma Fry.
Mr. Steuri was a past employee of the Ripley County Highway Department and a lifelong farmer. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Napoleon and the Ripley County Farm Bureau.
Visitation will be Friday, April 27 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Napoleon St. John’s Lutheran Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be given to St. John’s Church or Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood is in charge of arrangements.

Ann L. Goff Kemker
Ann L. Goff Kemker, 87, of Moores Hill passed away Monday, April 16, 2007 at the Woodland Hills Care Center, Lawrenceburg.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, April 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home in Moores Hill. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery south of Moores Hill.

Vicki J. Luhrsen
Vicki J. Luhrsen, 51, of Aurora passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Dearborn County Hospital. She was born at Batesville on August 31, 1955 the daughter of John and Alberta Daugherty Luhrsen.
Survivors include her mother, Alberta Luhrsen; sister Mrs. Phyllis Kay Johnson of Florence, KY and brothers John, Jr. and Roger Luhrsen.
She was preceded in death by her father John Luhrsen, Sr.
Ms. Luhrsen taught third grade at Manchester School for 29 years and was the president of the South Dearborn Education Association. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Aurora.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 11 at the Ulrich Filter DeVries Funeral Home in Dillsboro. Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro.
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Vicki Luhrsen Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Juanita F. Litmer
Juanita F. Litmer, 71, of Enochsburg, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at her residence.
Visitation is today, Thursday, April 12 from 4-8:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville, with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Church in Enochsburg. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

David Richard Madison
David Richard Madison, 17, of Sunman, died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. He was born October 29, 1989 at Merrillville, the son of Richard and April Hazzard Madison Borders.
Survivors include mother April Ann and step-father Duane Borders of Sunman; father Richard David and step-mother Rhonda Madison of Terre Haute; brothers Jonathan and Nathan Madison of Terre Haute; step-sister Tiffany Miller of Portage; step-brothers Duane and Christian Borders of Terre Haute; Joshua Miller of Lafayette and Robert Adams of Terre Haute; grandmother and step-grandfather Alice and Tom Hyatt of Coxville.
He was preceded in death by grandfather Carl Madison and grandparents David and Fernette Hazzard.
Madison was a junior at East Central High School in St. Leon. He was an active member of the Sunman Community Church youth group.
Visitation will be Friday, April 6 from 2-6:00 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow with Pastor Dan Steffen officiating. There will also be visitation and services on Saturday, April 7 from 2-6:00 p.m. at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway Street, Chesterton.
Memorials may be given to the family for the support of charities to be selected.

Ray Cooper, of Milan, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at his residence.

Dorothy Marshall
Dorothy Marshall, 91, formerly of Moores Hill graduated to Glory on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Ravenna, MI, where she had resided the last five years. She was born January 18, 1916 at Moores Hill, the daughter of Paul and Bertha May Schabel Rummel. She married Laurence Marshall on March 17, 1940 and he preceded her in death on September 29, 1970.
Mrs. Marshall was a telephone operator for the Moores Hill Telephone Company, and worked for Elvin and Martha Miller for several years. She was a 75-year member of the First Baptist Church, a 66-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a 50+-year member of the Rebekah Lodge. Mrs. Marshall also served as an advisory board member for the Order of Rainbow for Girls.
Survivors include daughter Carol Springer of Allendale, MI; granddaughter D’Anna Springer of Hamilton, MI and grandson Wesley Hopper of Ft. Wright, KY.
A Life-Celebration service will be held Saturday, April 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moores Hill First Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery at Moores Hill. Visitation will be from 6-9:00 p.m. on Friday at the Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home, Moores Hill. Eastern Star services will be at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Moores Hill Baptist Church or Forest Hill Cemetery.
